Hmm, that's interesting! I guess they both use Dark-type Pokemon so it makes sense. Also, they are both mysterious which makes the ship more interesting. Do you mean they can learn from each other in general or something like Pokemon battles?
 
They can learn each other's battling styles and trade each other some Pokémon.

But they can also learn from each other to be a little bit more like each other, with Grimsley helping Nanu be less lazy and feel less lonely, while Nanu helps Grimsley to be happier and take life a little less seriously.
