All day it's been messing up, though edits seem to go through just fine. The only problem is that I can't move pages, which sucks because we have an article that needs to be in the shipping namespace that was just created.

Man I wish we could force everyone to read the manual of style...

At least I know I'm not the only one who's been experiencing the problems. I tried moving the Shipping article as well, but of course, to no avail.

Any way to get it fixed?

EDIT:
Interestingly, it appears Wikipedia's having problems as well. Probably just a coincidence.

...crap.

Unless Zhen's left instructions regarding possible issues here with Pie, we may have to close down the database until he gets back, if this is indicative of an unstable database. We can't risk losing the data.

Nope. I've mentioned several times he's left me no instructions, just that I'd be the highest authority on Bulbapedia unless any issues escalate to Bulbagarden level, and that I could use the lockdown in an absolute emergency. He mentioned a mobile phone number for "a major emergency of the server-burning-down type" but he never actually gave me that number.

I talked to zhenlin today, he was aware of the search index problem. I don't know if he has time to fix it though.

I mentioned a possibility of having such a number, but I didn't have such a number to give, so... yeah.
