Dawn VS Paul

I doubt that Hikari will ever battle Shinji but if she did then I can see her using Pochama, Manmoo and either Hinoarashi or Pachirisu.
 
If Paul demolished Ash in the 6 on 6 battle the way he did, just imagine what he'd do to Dawn.

That being said I don't think they'll ever battle anyway.
 
What would happen to Dawn would be far beyond being demolished.

Anyway, Paul's pokemon are on steroids.

Doesn't matter what Pokemon she'd use, Paul would wreck her team. His Pokemon are far too powerful and he has a ruthless mentality when battling.
 
Insomniac's right. That reason also makes me wonder exactly how the shipping between the two ever started...

Either way, if Ash isn't good enough, neither is Dawn.
 
The only one that would have a chance of holding its own is Manmoo. Under Hikari's command however...

Most of the people who would want to see a Dawn Vs Paul battle are IkariShippers anyway. :/

As for whether Dawn can beat Paul, it kinda depends on the rules of the battle. In a normal battle, Dawn wouldn't last half a minute. In a contest setting though....who knows? She might actually win.

Probably, I doubt Paul has ANY experience in contest battles while Dawn has a lot.
 
Even if it was a contest Paul won't need points or time. He will just knock out all of her pokemon in a short period of time. Even if Dawn will use 6 pokemon Paul only need as an example his Electabuzz to demolish them.
 
While it wouldn't make any sense for this to happen, it would not be pretty. I would laugh though, at how hopeless Dawn's situation would be. Man, that's about the meanest sounding thing I've ever posted...
 
To be fair Paul would likely beat Brock, Misty, May, etc. anyone else in a battle the same way.

Ash is stronger than all his friends, so if he lost, so would all of them. Probably Gary too.

This. If Dawn doesn't train enough for this (especially before the Grand Festival), then Paul would sweep her entire team.

On seriousness: she'd probably use Piplup (like a few others said) and maybe Mamoswine or Buneary/Pachirisu.
 
If a battle like this happens eventually, this is how I see it.
Dawn: Piplup or Mamoswine
Paul: Electabuzz or Magmortar.
Electabuzz effortlessly defeats Piplup.
Magmortar defeats Mamoswine, although the latter got one attack in.
