dawn's 6th pokemon?

what pokemon type does dawn need? well she has 1 water, 2 normal, 1 electric, and 1 ground/ice, i think she can use a grass type, maybe she might have an egg which will contain eevee and after evolving to leafeon at moss rock, what do you think?
 
A Leafeon would suit her. :3 Although isn't the moss rock all the way back in Eterna Forest? ._o She could just catch a wild one. I also think she should ditch Ambipom and get a fire type.
 
i like ambipom, and she might get the riolu egg from riley, what do you say?

btw does dawn's buneary know jump kick and bounce or just bounce
 
i think all her pokemon will end up being 4th generation. i think brock might capture a pokemon soon too.
 
Really, no girl has had a full team of six their entire run, so I don't see Dawn with 6 either.

But I do see her dumping Ambipom or Pachirisu with her mother and catching an Eevee to evolve into a Leafeon (to complement May's Glaceon), or either Cyndaquil or Chikorita in case Johto gets remade.
 
Giving Dawn even more Pokemon at this point is a horrible idea.

She has 5 Pokemon, but it feels like she only has 2. Piplup and whoever switches off to star in an ep.

Buneary, Pachi, Ambipom, and Swinub have enough trouble as it is sharing the spotlight with Piplup, why should she get a 6th one to complicate things further?

I love Dawn's Pokemon, and that's why it pisses me off that the writers can't divide proper screentime between them.
 
that's true, but just because no girl had 6 pokemon it doesn't mean she won't. i mean she is the first to travel with ash to capture an electric type, she is the only one who traded her pokemon with ash, i think and hope she will have a leafeon/riolu.

i think leafeon because of may's glaceon

i think riolu because every main character had an egg once

ash-phanpy
misty-togepi
brock-happiny
may-eevee
dawn-eevee or riolu
 
If she gets Eevee then everybody will know it'll either turn into Leafeon or Espeon. Then they'll bitch that it's taking too long to evolve.

Dawn should send Pachirisu or Ambipom to her house because they're minor characters at best now.

Conway should give Dawn a Slowpoke egg.

Misty. EP050. She had Goldeen, Staryu, Starmie, Horsea, Psyduck, and Togepi from there until she dumped Starmie and Horsea off in Cerulean in EP061. Then after that she had Goldeen, Staryu, Psyduck, Togepi, Poliwhirl/toed, and Corsola from EP213 until the end of Johto.

And May and Dawn and their Pokémon had more time at center stage than Misty and hers by a long shot.

I could see another Johto Pokémon for her... maybe one that doesn't inevitably become a Gen IV one...

Should Togepi really count as a Pokemon? Its more of a teddybear.
 
Aside from a few eps here and there, Togepi felt more like an item than a Pokemon.

Misty's Pokemon honestly never matted much since she battled as often as Brock did, aside from Psyduck for comic relief.
 
I personally think that James needs a new pokemon, but if Dawn gets a sixth one I'd like it to be a Girafarig.

What does Mars have to do with Dawn's sixth Pokemon?

Which I think will be Piplup. Then what's her fifth? Piplup. Fourth? Piplup. Third, second, first????? PIPLUP. That friggin' Piplup taking up the stage. I have nothing against the Pokemon in general, but just that Piplup is taking too much time to itself. It needs to be shafted.

Imagine if she had nothing but Piplups...the horror...

Why would it make sense if Dawn get's a Riolu? It would make more sense if Ash get's Riolu then Dawn. Dawn having Leafeon would be great like already mentioned here :)

Oh yeah, and all of them were stellar characters in their own right. Starmie and Horsea really had some amazing moments right? ...right?

Joking aside, Misty may have had the team limit of six, but the only ones that actually mattered much were Psyduck and Togepi, and possibly Poliwhirl/toed.

That was the main problem with Misty. Most of her Pokémon roster sucked. You don't add more Pokémon to someone's team if they won't be getting any kind of characterization or development. It makes the entire capture and addition to the team pointless in the long run.

Which is why I don't see Dawn getting a new Pokémon anytime soon. Perhaps when she's competed in the grand festival or after Ash's Sinnoh League, she'll leave a Pokémon at her mother's place and have room for a new Pokémon, like they did with May.
 
ash already has his full team, right? and he already had an egg, right? dawn is the only main character who hasn't gotten an egg.

Just because he has 6 pokemon doesn't mean he won't get any pokemon. We're just half way sinnoh so you say in those 2 years Ash won't catch any pokemon? In the first season Ash caught 6 pokemon in 12 episodes T_T; I'm sure she'll get an egg maybe in DP or on that Battle island but i just don't see her with a Riolu/Lucario especially after they confirmed Ash can sense/control Aura but that's just me.

Ontopic: After watching episode 88 i actually hope Dawn will keep Grimer! It's so cute! Though it probably won't happen since she recently caught Swinub though everything can happen in DP xD!
