Alright, now that Ash has received his infernape and now next week, grotle is evolving into torterra, it kinda makes me wonder when are we going to see Dawn's Togekiss? In the new opening, The Greatest Everyday, dawn is seen with all of her pokemon, except the togekiss, but Ash has his infernape and torterra, which means Dawn should be getting her togekiss within the next few of episodes.....hopefully :/

So when are we goin to see togekiss

I think it was said that this is happening in April, as a toy in Japan called, "Dawn's Togekiss" was announced to be coming out from Bandai or something.

I'm surprised all the spoilers from the new opening happened so far. I certainly didn't expect to see Ash's two starters evolve so soon, and Togekiss isn't far behind.

Hopefully soon, I'm very curious how it all happens. It'd be too weird if it was like the episode Who Gets to Keep Togepi with Dawn winning it.

I think we've already seen it, in the form of Togepevil. But as to when she'll catch it... most likely before the grand festival, so I say shortly after Sunyshore concludes.

BTW, that reminds me, did the writers remember to add Togekiss into the group shot?

Also, assuming Dawn is going to get Togekiss, I doubt it will be Sado-Togepi, as Togekiss's facial features imply that it is actually a normal togekiss instead of sado-togepi. Trust me, if the writers wanted it to be Sado-Togepi, they would have drawn those features in, even if it only appeared for a second, just to hint at where that Togekiss originated.

In fact, the fact that it appeared as a Togekiss instead of as a Togepi makes me think that she is actually going to catch a Togekiss in the wild instead of merely raising a Togepi to evolution. Heck, I don't think Dawn even has a Dawn stone yet.

I'm guessing, like Noctowl, Dawn may catch it as a Togekiss or Togetic.

Even with rushed evolution, the writers just gave us Infernape, with Torterra coming next episode.

Right now we can't be so sure.
While it is true that Dawn's Togekiss was shown in the appeal along with Buneary, it wasn't seen along with the group's other pokemon when they were looking at the legendary birds/Lati(a/o)s.
I'd say we will get Togekiss some time later, somewhere close in proximity to the Grand Festival.

I honestly doubt that some plush company would release "Dawn's Togekiss" in April, if Dawn wasn't going to have a Togekiss by that time. From a marketing standpoint, it makes no sense.

It's like advertising something as "Ash's Dialga" but Ash never catches one, so it would be stupid to advertise something as "Ash's Dialga."

No, Togekiss isn't in the group shot.

But why should I trust you on this? Togekiss was seen for about a second in the opening. Do you really think they're going to be so picky as to detail the face like that? And plus, as the rest of the opening spoils a lot of stuff, perhaps the fact Togekiss isn't looking evil IS a plot point. So, sorry, I'm not going to trust you, because you know just as much about this as I do.

Also, at the end of the Togepi episode, the screen faded out on the evil Togepi looking devious, a technique in play-writing (or anime writing I guess) that is used to foreshadow the return of this specific character. It's pretty much a, "I'll be back," except without these specific words.

I think its ridiculous that people are in denial about Dawn capturing Togekiss.

Its confirmed two ways.

I do hope it'll be the evil Togepi but sadly I think it's unlikely...
Anyway, if she's supposed to already have Togekiss in April (since the Dawn's Togekiss plushie is released in April) I think there's a good chance she'll get it already as a Togekiss or maybe as a Togetic and will find the stone to evolve it in the same ep (similar to Jessie's Yanmega)
It's strange because usually they insist on giving the main characters the Poké in their first form, even if it means rushed evolution... we'll have to wait and see
Of the currently known eps the only one I can somehow see it happening is the school ep since it looks like the ep will focus half on Dawn and half (probably less) on Jessie

Does it have to be a Dawn-centric episode? It could be an episode where none of the characters receive any focus (Heck, Brock acquired Croagunk, and yet the episode where he caught it didn't have any focus on Brock whatsoever [If anyone received focus in that episode, it was Croagunk.].). Well, let's see how it turns out, anyways.

Takeshi had that because writers completely ignore him.

Hikari, however is a co-star. And this will be her Togekiss. Common sense says she will get it in an episode focusing on her, or to be more correct episode will focus on her because she gets a Pokémon.

I think she might receive Togekiss as a gift and be asked to train it maybe. Like Brock did with Susie's Vulpix. It's pretty rare to catch, and I don't think it will turn out to be a evil Togepi, but who knows. I hope she gets it soon. She hasn't caught a new Pokemon in ages.

I might as well remind you that Charmander went to Ash despite the fact that he wasn't even the focus of the episode.

Actually Charmander was the basis of the entire episode. It was all about how its trainer abonded it on a rock. It got sick, Ash and Co rushed it to the pokemon centre and after much deliberation Charmander decided to travel along with Ash and refused to go back to its original trainer. The whole episode was dedicated to the story of how Ash became Its trainer.

The episode was even called 'Charmander the Stray Pokemon'

Takeshi had that because writers completely ignore him.

I agree. Brock could invent and and everlasting Poffin and no one would care :(
