That's probably one thing they're going to have to add in terms of functionality (or perhaps, the functionality already exists but is not exposed via a user interface your mom). I only have faint recollections about being asked about DST in Sapphire, since DST, and for that matter, winter and summer, are meaningless here.
They'll probably include it - but chances are they'll forget to accomodate the southern hemisphere. Whenever we go on or off daylight savings, my Animal Crossing clock screws up because it's trying to go on when we go off or the reverse.
Wouldn't it have been smarter to just have had the clock set by the DS clock at the start of the game, and then run off that time for the rest? Then again, with that function, one would have to change both clocks for daylight saving (if it's included).
My interpretation of the original question, given the context, was whether the Japanese version of DP, which the OP is playing, had DST or not, which it does not.
