I was wondering if anybody watches the batman animated series on kids wb,

i love this series is very well done and has had alot of time put into its work, (jeff matsuda is a great artist).

THe second season has been moved for realese two weeks earlier and is set for september 21, 2006.

-Also, tell me what you think about the DCs old batman compared to the new Dark Knight? (I would really like to know)

tHANKS!!

You mean The Batman?

Batman the Animated Series isn't on Kids WB anymore.

Impossible, it's been off for years.

You are definately talking about The Batman

i am talking about the batman, and its still on kids wb, i saw it just three days ago, if it were off why would the still be producing new seasons with a directing staff from warner bros.?

That's what I said, the title of your thread is Batman Animated series, which is completely different from The Batman.

why dont you just give it up habunake, or just answer the question and get off the thread, why is it that you have to give everybody else such are hard time about everything, especialy new members such as myself, why should we fight about this whe we both have something in common, we both like pokemon and thats all that matters. Ok, so just keep in mind what your doing and be smart about it, then you'll have a better chance to meet new people andf new friends maybe. Thanks

I was just asking which Batman series you were talking about.

And yes, I like The Batman. But nothing beats the original 60's Batman tv show...XD

4th season, not second.

I like the show too...except for Joker. The Joker from Batman:TAS was MUCH better. And Penguin is annoying and overused, and his "hench-girls" are extremely disturbing. But I like the show overall. Ellen Yin needs to come back, the interactions between her and Batman were great, and there were even some shipping hints (and still are in the comic).

^^^
The Joker sounds like a black guy in TB.......0.0

I think the guy that voices him is. Anywho, while I like the theme song and Batman's design, that's really all I like about The Batman. For me, The Batman isn't as good as Batman: The Animated Series. But, man, I really, REALLY miss Batman Beyond.

Btw, shouldn't this thread be titled "The Batman"? Because "Batman: The Animated Series" was a completely different show. This could (and has already) lead to confusion among people that post in this thread.

I stopped watching after the first episode. It's everything the Timm series wasn't - aimed squarely at six year olds, full of crazy gimmicks based to sell toys alone, devoid of interesting characters -

And for some reason, they decided to turn the Joker into some insane clown/gorilla hybrid. Because what you want in Batman's arch-clown enemy is a big, hulking, black guy with opposable feet. Riiight.

Jeebus. Teen Titans may not have been done by the Timm crew, but it still had style, good characters, and usually decent plots. The Batman is just animated garbage.

But Teen Titans had Marv Wolfman (one of the seminal Titans writers) involved to some extent (not sure how many eps he did, but he at least did the reunion episode that saw Terra return). As far as I'm aware, no real comic writer is involved with The Batman.

The Batman Season 1 was horrible aside from the Clayface episodes.

I've seen about half of Season 2.

I didn't see any of Season 3.

Season 4 looks really awesome however, Robin FINALLY debuts, (he looks a lot like his Teen Titans design, even fights with a stick!), and even Martian Manhunter and Flash are set to debut.

I plan on catching it. Don't forget about Legion of Superheroes either, which has a young Superman taken to the future with the Legion. (we've seen them in S:TAS and JLU already)

No, the new Robin sucks compared to the TT one.

Ugh. I hate the designs for that show, if only because the idea behind it seems to be "Teen Titans, but this time with Superboy instead of Robin! Also, in the future, I guess - but look, we picked out the Legionaires that look just like the Teen Titans!"

Anyone know what happened to the Superman animated series developed by The Batman team that was supposed to be in the works? All I remember was the early designs which featured him having an adorable robot sidekick named "Superbot" *shudder*

I've NEVER heard of that. I remember the old "Gotham City" posters before they ditched the idea and went with "Smallville". I remember when it was going to be Superboy on Legion (legal reasons forced a change). And, of course, Aquaman. So many failed or semi-failed things.

What possible "legal reasons" would force a chance, when it's a DC show with DC characters? Sometimes the legal system is just plain stupid.
