Mmhm. Basically just what the title says: the Dead Space universe with Pokemon built into the mix. It seems like a bit of a simple concept, but it could change a lot of things, when you get to thinking about. Needless to say, one of the requirements will be some kind of experience with Dead Space, knowledge of pokemon, and a literacy level that could rival my own(not to toot my own horn, of course). Horror and the psychological shit that goes on in here is very delicate stuff. When done right, it's the shiz; when done wrong, it's absolute and total fail. I don't like fail-filled RPs. So we aren't going to go there.

The plot, overall, remains very much the same, though there will be some very distinct differences. Starting off, Isaac isn't going to be the only protagonist(or antagonist; I can barely remember the difference. Whichever's the good guy); in fact, we're going to have 2 in this RP: Isaac Clarke, and Ash Ketchum, both CEC engineers of some degree or another. Kendra and Hammond, because of their lesser roles and otherwise total sub-character-ness(bar Kendra near the end), I'll play them, although they're not going to be much more than just the same "Go here so we can do this" voices piping up every so often from their RIGs. The mechanics and technology will remain the same, altered only by the presence of the necessary pokemon technology, such as PC systems and the Pokemon Center in the Medical Wing and such. The miners will be accompanied by many a pokemon, though most are probably going to be from the Macho-family and the typical Rock-types miners would be expected to have, like Onix and Geodude, or maybe some of the more exotic species like Cranidos. But basically, all the pokemon are going to be labor-related and capable of working alongside their miner trainers. As well as some upgrades to the ship, including the pokemon-related infastructure and facilities, the USG Ishimura will be blessed with a wide new assortment of necromorphs fit to design around the pokemon they harbor around, including Machoke and Machamp-based Slashers, Nidoking-based Brutes, smaller pokemon-based Lurkers, Voltorb and Electrode-based Exploders, Grab Tentacles built around the bodies of Onix, and maybe even a few new designs based around the many pokemon types present during the Ishimura disaster. Overall, we're going to be taking the world of Dead Space and molding it around the world of Pokemon, bringing us the best of both worlds...and the blood-bathed combination of the two.

Isaac and Ash will be our main characters. They'll be roaming around the ship doing the repair work and filling out the objectives necessary so we can have an interactive experience wit the necromorph horde and the Ishimura itself. We'll each play one or the other as our main characters. Isaac will be in search of Nicole, who will remain in her predetermined position of...well, Nicole. Ash will be possibly looking for the Nicole-figure set for him, who could be either Misty or Dawn or someone of the like. The Nicole for Ash, basically. Then of course we'll have Zach Hammond and Kendra Daniels, both of whom, though playing a less immediately-significant role in the gameplay itself, will be under my control. Then of course we'll have Dr. Kyne, Challus Mercer, and then perhaps Brock in place of Jacob Temple, accompanied by whatever female pokemon character not taken by Ash(probably May or Dawn) to replace Elizabeth Cross. The Marker will remain in its role of significance as well, though I may or may not turn Unitology into Poketology for the sake of the combined universes, possibly putting Arceus in place of Altman, or maybe having Altman relating to Arceus in some way. This is up for debate, however. Whichever strikes our fancy at the moment.

This will be a 1x1; two people for the two main characters. The plotline, thuogh altered according to the new element of pokemon, will remain relatively the same. The objective will maintain their original status, and though the enemies will be considerably different at times, the "strategic dismemberment" combat system, plus the RIG, stasis, and mining tools in place of weapons will all be the same. Pikachu's back on Sprawl at earth, waiting for Ash to finish his mission, too; can't forget poor Pika! T-T

So that's the deal. once again, I'm requesting a fellow RPer with literacy skills comparable to my own, plus being able to write entire paragraphs at a time. My schedule is hell lately, as well as my flip-flopping demeanors, but I intend to keep at this one. I'll expect you to do the same. After all, considering this level of awesomeness, who's going to want to drop it? Certainly not me! ^^

Well I definitely want to try it. I've been looking for a pokemon rp and this one definitely caught my interest. Not sure if everyone in this universe (including Isaac) carries pokemon and as a character will you allow custom parties? I'm up for the role of isaac particularly if he can carry pokemon as well. This sounds incredibly interesting...

Hm...I think I'm gonna have Vamp on this one. Knight, go ahead and post again on that one closer to the top, would you? Still interested; just not in the spam. ^^;

Alrighty, Vamp...I would certainly be willing to work this out. However, I'm very picky, so I'm going to need to see some past writing work to make a "yes" or "no" judgement on this.

Alright I'll look for something. I don't usually write massively long responses, though I don't do tiny little ones. I usually do a paragraph or two (maybe longer if it's an action packed scene). I'll see if I can find anything good for ya.

This was an intro post for my character:
Thunder crackles and the clouds gather and swirl angrily over the Outlands of Darae. A harsh wind begins to pick up roaring as gusts wash over the stone edifices. The space between each flash of lighting grows shorter and shorter as the sudden storm's intensity swells. Soon the cacophonous roar of the storm grows to a crescendo and the clouds part... along with space itself. A cloud of inky black mist swirls downwards as lightning strikes the solid stone around it. Slowly the mist gathers in a ball on the very center of the ruins beneath it. The storm rolls and swirls as the last of the mist falls upon the ruins and suddenly begins to die down. The winds give one last mighty push and carries off the mist revealing a weathered warrior standing in the center of the time desecrated ruins. As the large warrior raises his head he looks upon the face of a statue, a statue of a goddess...

His eyes glow as he looks upon the graven visage and he reaches into his armor pulling out a tiny baby bat stroking it's head gently. "Looks like we have a new home..."

I only 'spam' if my partner does. I can only match their content, and I would love if they would write a little longer, but previous attempts fail. *Sigh* I'm not saying that you shouldn't pick Vampire, I'm just correcting you on that. ...Alright...

Oh, no, honey! I'm not saying you spammed. I'm talking about the spam on the other thread. Tis why I didn't reply afterward there. Lots of people spamming. ^^'
