Deady Tornado Makes 2006 deadliest Tornado Season of the 21st Century

A tornado killed 5 people in Riegelwwod, NC to bring 2006's Tornado-related death toll to 60, surpassing 2003 as the deadilest Tornado season since 1999 which was the last year in which an F5 tornado was reported.

The death toll is actually 8 now. This tornado was a real tragedy because it struck so quickly there was no chance to get away.
