Midway announced four additional characters for the upcoming Mortal Kombat vs. the DC Universe video game at the Leipzig Games Convention press conference — Wonder Woman and Deathstroke the Terminator from the DCU, and Raiden and Kano from previous Mortal Kombat games.

I figured with the publicity Deathstroke got, thanks to the Teen Titans cartoon, people might be interested to know he was in this. Also looks like Green Lantern's in it, along with Jax and Kitana from Mortal Kombat. Looking cool. Almost makes me wish I had an XBox 360.
 
I didn't have any huge expectations for this game (I has a feeling all of the Major characters from Justice League would be in this game), but seeing characters like Deathstroke emerge on the DC side make me want to keep a much closer eye on this game. Now, if this game plays half as well as it's presentation has been, then it might just be worth buying a 360.
 
I'm a big fan of Wonder Woman, and it's good to hear that she's going to be in the game.
 
I was kind of expecting John Stewart to be Green Lantern (to give Jax a counterpart) instead of Hal Jordan.
 
This is only for 360? I don't have one but my brother does so maybe I'll get the game anyways.

Deathstroke is cool, I wasn't thinking about villians, let alone anyone related to TT. Who are all the DC chars to be in it? So far I've mostly seen JL related ones.

Pretty interesting link. Gives a list of who's been confirmed, what moves they have, and Joker's fatality and Superman's brutality.

Ed Boon mentioned that in the future he'd like to have downloadable content that may include additional arenas or characters.

now all they need is luthor, cage and reptile and the game will be worth buying another 360(even though mine works just fine)

its for ps3 as well and we all know there will be a wii version midway cant pass up that market

They're syaing there won't be a Wii version. On the other hand, basic 360s are now only $200. Hmmm...
 
but think about it there has never been an mk game that has not been on a nintendo console except shoalin monks and *gulps* special forces

Well, on the DC side, Captain Marvel's not in that list. So...there's your missing DC guy. No clue about the MK guys (so hard to keep them all straight past MK 2).
 
Captain Marvel is being called "Shazam" because DC can't market the character under the Captain Marvel name. Due to an agreement with Marvel Comics.
 
He's listed as Shazzam due to most of the confusion around the character's name for the past several decades.

MK people are hinting that the hidden character is either Johnny Cage or Goro. Can't think of who would make good for the DC hidden.

Hopefully this game will set the stage for Marvel vs Capcom vs DC vs Mortal Kombat, which would be the greatest fucking fighting game ever.
