Debate: Psychic Ditto

I always knew Ditto could imitate moves, but can Ditto imitate Psychic attacks like Psybeam an Psychic? Because in the anime the trainer who has the psychic Pokemon usually have Psychic powers themselves so I was thinking maybe it is implied that the trainer ust have Psychic powers to use Psychic attacks, so if Ditto becomes for example, Kadabra, and the trainer doesn't have telekinetic powers, will Ditto be able to use Psychic attacks. There's so many other cases where that anime statement is completely false (Lucian and Faba, two Psychic Pokémon specialists, are just intellectuals and not psychics), so I would definitely say that they can.

If pokémon need to have psychic trainers in order to use psychic attacks, then why are wild pokémon capable of using psychic attacks/

Why would the trainer themselves need psychic powers to use Psychic attacks? They're not the ones battling.
