This month on Pokemon ReBURST....
Hariru and Fraud's battle comes to an end!

Fraud is revealed to be the owner of BHS? Makes sense, I suppose.

I guess this means Pauline is part of GG? If so, then I saw it coming.

Fraud reveals a new technique that I cannot figure out what it says...

Axed Shred.
斧頭斬刻... 'Axe-head Hew'.
The last two kanji ('Hew'/'Shred'), if used normally, one possible way they would be pronounced is 'Kirikizamu'(斬り刻む), which bears quite a resemblance to a certain Pokemon's name.

This manga really abuses ateji...

On the other hand, is the Paulina and the new guy possibly part of the Seven Warriors? The text is barely readable, but it looks like his name is ゲルブ (Gerubu? Gerb? Gelb?). I'll just go with Gelb (the word being German for yellow).

Sorry, the images I got were originally in 2000x sized. I shrink them down to 1000x so they won't be horribly huge.

But yes, it is written as Gerubu.

This week's chapter also reveals that Burst Hearts, like the pokemon they contain, are able to get stronger as they become involved in more and more battles. Fraud comments on how Hariru's Zorroa Burst Heart is strong since it's been used in so many high level battles.

Also, Gerebu is Fraud's underling who appears to show the other Burst Warriors that they actually do have the one billion yen prize money.

Interesting.

I've been speculating that Hariru would go through some sort of "Burst evolution" or something since I found it very odd to see him with a Pokemon that is unevolved...

I guess this implies it may be possible...

It's like Burst Battles are just like Pokemon battling, imagine that!

Zoroark-Haril would be a sight to see.

This week on ReBURST, the final round...I don't know the name because the images don't tell me it...begins!

Ryouga vs Fraud!

This week also includes fanservice! (Big shocker...)

....What? It's all these girls are good for, might as well have them actually doing their purpose.

I'm not complaining.

Possibly ガチンコ一本勝負? I'm not sure what "gachinko" in here meant, but I assume it's going to be a one-round sumo match?

And, this ends with a cliffhanger where Fraud is preparing some stance to use his best technique on Ryouga (or something like that)

This week on Naruto Shipp....wait, wrong show.

This week on Pokemon ReBURST, the final round (that I don't know the name of) continues.

Fraud reveals his strongest attack, Metal (something...X?) Hand. Written as 剛鉄巨腕, literally Strong-Iron Giant Hand, read as メタルエクスハンド, Metal (X...I think) Hand. I'll just call it that until someone can correct me...hopefully.

Two more images from karubiimunomono (Sometimes I wish I could thank him/her for these)

Nothing really new, but we can see Ryouga using Lightning....Parve (or whatever that's supposed to be) again and more of Metal...X...Hand.

Come on, Ryouga. Use a new technique already...

Maybe that thing you used to defeat Hilgreitz back in chapter 6...

Looks like Metal X Hand to me too.
From the scans, Yappy has what looks like a piece of Pauline's uniform(?), and uses it to escape and decides to steal the Burst Hearts of the other 48 or so competitors.
Meanwhile Calora says there's no way for Ryouga to win because she's heard that Metal X Hand is also known as the "Invincible".

Praying for Zoroark Halil as well.

Ryouma's lack of game winning techniques so far is a nice buildup

In other news, the third volume's cover has been unveiled.

Looks nice to see the BHS contestants in color.

But uh...where's Karuta? And was Ryouga's Burst always this...blue?

Where have I seen that before... Let's see now:
Rolen, Xin, Dokan, Rush, Halil and Calora, Batz, Ryouga, Pauline, Miruto and Yappie, Fraud, Rabine, Afron, Rurimaru, and Euro

But uh...where's Karuta?
He's a ninja. He doesn't want to be seen. Either that or Ryouga's blocking him (Like poor, poor Batz). Picque's nowhere to be seen too.

And was Ryouga's Burst always this...blue?
Or indigo. Depends on how you see it. I didn't realize Pauline was that red...

I would translate the name of the final round, ガチンコ一本勝負, as the "Fair and Square Final Match." Gachinko is a sumo term that refers to a match that isn't fixed; if you follow the sport at all, you know that there's been a lot of controversy surrounding how much these matches are allegedly decided before the athletes step foot in the ring.

This final BHS match doesn't have any special gimmicks; it's just a straight, one-on-one battle.

In the previous week's chapter, he remembers that Pauline used something in her glove to trap them in that cage back when the BHS first started. He stole the glove in the previous chapter using an extendable claw he had hidden in one of his cameras.

Meanwhile Calora says there's no way for Ryouga to win because she's heard that Metal X Hand is also known as the "Invincible".

Part of the reason it's called that is because it's able to absorb the energy of any attack thrown at it. This is pretty important because this final round is occurring immediately after the semi-finals with no time for the contestants to rest. Fraud's giant arm absorbs the power of Ryouga's Lightning Parve and brings him back to full power. Ryouga, meanwhile, is still a little worn out from his previous match.
