Seriously, I need one. So I'm thinking that if I can get a good one with a reasonable price, I could con my parents into helping pay for it.

Can anyone point me to a decent quality server (I need like 300+ GB bandwidth) that isn't uber expensive? I've gone with one before that looked good, but I got completely fucked over in the end. ¬¬

$50-$75 a month

Though if I could get more people to help pay for it, we could get a nicer one...

Greg Doesn't own a server currently. He buys reseller hosting from Elixant.

Wait a minute, Greg told me he does have a server but he can't maintain it monthly. Server Maintainence ranges from $85-$200/month and Greg seems to spend too much money on his domains. :p

Most of my domains are bought by Evan and transferred to my account >_>;

And I have a home server.
 
We did buy a server but it fried the first time we tried to install stuff on it, and it cost $70 to get it back up which we didn't have :P

Gweggy, as I said, I'll put some of my allowance into server if you can get a good one. RewindHost will live again!
 
So let's guess $15 from me, $15 from JA...

That's $30. If we can get another $70 we can get a decent server...
 
I might be able to talk Rob-kun into giving some too XD. How about... Evan? *giggles and waits for the backlash*

It's a home server, so it isn't very reliable.

I'd always go reseller. Right now I dont' think I could host myself.

Greg's home server exists but is far too slow on a home connection to use.

We bought a dedicated server in a data centre. We tried to remotely reboot it. It fried. XD

Yeah, and they wouldn't give us our money back. And then one of the people who donated got a chargeback >_> We're kind of broke.
