September is just NOT the month to be a Republican. Or, more specifically, anywhere near the White House administration. What's next? Cheney is revealed to be the devil? Rumsfeld is revealed to be an arms dealer?

And then the Republicans were gonna put a gay guy as speaker, but then realized that it doesn't go with their "family values"(Read: Bigotry and hate) agenda. XD

And there's still the outing a spy during wartime thing, and the response to Katrina... So is this what the Lewinsky thing felt like for Republicans? ^_^
 
It's about time. He pulled this crap in 2002 in order to have control over the Texas house to mess with the redistricting. Anyone remember the manhunt for congressmen from Texas. Then there are the "gifts" he's recieved. Even if he is acquitted, I doubt he'll win his election in '06.

Here's hoping Karl Rove is the next one to wind up in court.

Maybe...just maybe...this is the beginning of the end of the Republican's firm hold over our country they have had for the past six years. Everyone knows DeLay is a crook, and nowhe and other Republicnas are being exposed for the hateful bigots they are.

Necessary, as he has a valid point. Ex-education secretary, for instance. Or Abramoff. Or the entire Plame probe. Lotsa 'pubs are on the indictment block.

That education secretary's comments on blacks pretty much puts him in the "hateful bigots" category. Hey, let's abort all black babies to stop crime! Why don't we just kill all the Chinese to reduce competition from Asian producers?

He used it as a terrible example of why abortion is bad, and also stereotyped blacks as criminals.
 
Bennett's statement was factually correct, but politically stupid. Also, did you note what he said right after that "horrible" statement?

That would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do. But your crime rate would go down.
