On the Bulbagrden Forums, how do you delete a thread? in the Bulbagarden Social Forum I accidentally posted the same topic twice, one with a spelling error in thetitle, and one without a spelling error in the title, and I will keep commonly be making spelling errors because I am typing up threads and messages on my iPod rather than my computer, just like as if I were posting here on my cell phome, which I don't have anyway. Anyway whrn I went to edit post, there was no option I saw to delete the thread with the spelling error so I can keep the thread I created without the spelling error, so I need some Moderator of that forum to go delete the extra. I don't want that 1 more or 2 infractions for double posting topic so that is why I am making this thread right now, plus I have very little Wifi right now where I am so please forgive me. Yesterday when I was posting a reply in a newbie's topic, the message I typed up didn't get sent, so i don't know what happened. I don't want to accidentally send myself into a 2 week vacation from here as that's where I am and that's what 1 more infraction would do to me if i received one right now before one of them expires.

Edit: The link to the thread is this. http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/showthread.php?t equals 36323 I think. Go there. Sorry that I had to put equals instead of that sign as I don't have it on this keyboard.

Ask a mod or admin to delete the thread. If you explain what happened to them, it should be okay.

If you want to delete a post you've made, hit the "edit" button. Below the text box, you'll see "Save", "Go Advanced", "Delete", and "Cancel." Click "Delete", then make sure you've selected "Delete Message" in the panel that pops open. Then just click "Delete This Message." To delete a thread, just delete your initial post.

Also, questions about the site should go in the "Frequently Asked Questions" sub-forum of the "Announcements and Rules" forum.

Ok thanks! I see that the double posted thread has been deleted already even though it came first and probably should say On in the title, not In.

If you click "Go Advanced", you can edit the title.

Please note: The thread is from 17 years ago.
Please take the age of this thread into consideration in writing your reply. Depending on what exactly you wanted to say, you may want to consider if it would be better to post a new thread instead.
