yes, i know this is my 3rd deck posted here, but so what, i like to make decks and get feedback, sue me:-|

a couple days ago i was looking at delta cards and i saw for the first time how well they could work together, so, i decided to make a deck

i spent a loooooooong time on this deck....

3x Charmander delta --- EX Crystal Guardians
2x Charmeleon delta --- EX Crystal Guardians
1x Charizard delta --- EX Crystal Guardians
1x Deoxys delta --- EX Holon Phantoms #6
1x Deoxys delta --- EX Holon Phantoms #5
1x Deoxys delta --- EX Holon Phantoms #4
2x Psyduck delta --- EX Holon Phantoms
1x Golduck delta --- EX Holon Phantoms
3x spearow --- EX fire red and leafgreen
2x Fearow delta --- EX Crystal Guardians
2x wingull --- EX deoxys
1x Pelipper delta --- EX Crystal Guardians

22x thunder energy
3x holon's electrode ---

3x holon research tower --- EX delta species
3x bill's maitnence --- EX crystal gaurdians
3x steven's advice --- EX power keepers
2x lanette's net search --- EX emerald
2x holon farmer --- EX delta species
2x wally's training --- EX delta species

charizard as main attacker -- with holon research tower, when charizard attacks, he dosen't have to discard anything :D
deoxys as secondary atacker -- use deoxys #5 attack to increase deoxys #6 atack, deoxys #4 is for retreating deoxys quickley
golduck to prevent holon research tower from being removed
fearow for searching for pokemon
pelipper for retreating pokemon
holon's electrode as an extra energy card
holon research tower to allow charizard and deoxys #6 to attack
bill's maitnence for drawing power
steven's advice (see above)
lanette's net search for searching for any of the various basic pokemon in the deck
holon farmer for taking cards out of the deck
wally's training as alternetive to 'candy because it also lets you search for the pokemon

There are numerous changes I would consider making to the deck, but first and formost are these:
- Far too many basic energy; try dropping ten or so basic Lightning energies and throwing in Double Rainbow Energies and a couple Delta Energies.
- The deck also needs special metal energies.
- Any delta deck must run 4x Holon Transciever! This is what makes the deck work!
- Instead of running a bunch of secondary attackers such as Deoxys and Golduck, why not just use this for the Pokémon line:
4x Charmander delta
3x Charmeleon delta
4x Charizard delta
3x Nidoqueen delta
2x Nidorina delta
3x Nidoran female delta
3x Holon's Electrode
----
This will give you an extremely consistent setup when combined with running 4x Rare Candy, which is also very important... Charizard can be setup quickly with the use of Nidoqueen and powered up quickly with the use of Electrode delta and Double Rainbow Energy.

For a good idea for a delta trainer line, see this.

politoed, did you read each card's job?

neither golduck, peliper, or fearow are secondary attackers, each's job is decribed in the space you obvously didn't read:mad:
(i agree that deoxys could be taken out though, and that 22 energy is too many)

please read the section below the cardlist and post again

now why would i need to run special metal energy's?

and how would holon tranciver affect this deck? it would only affect holon farmer?!

and i already know how cool rare candy is, but it would only affect charizard in this deck, in wich there is only one in this deck

• Golduck and Fearow would function as secondary attackers as well as tools for setting up... otherwise, Charizard is your only attacker. And considering that Charizard requires four energies to attack, that's a very, very bad idea.

• Nidoqueen, although it can take an extra turn to evolve, is superior to Fearow because it can also function as a heavy-hitting attacker late in the game.

• Special Metal Energy give their minus-10 damage capabilities to any Pokémon that is completely or partially Metal-type... such as Charizard.

• With the trainer build you have now, yes... Holon Transciever would only search for Holon Farmer. However, you'll notice that I suggested using a trainer line similar to the one in the article I linked you to. There, it has a much better function.

:spin:wow, thanks for clearing that up:spin:

i think I'm going to go with this decklist:

3x charmander delta
2x charmeleon delta
2x charizard delta
3x nidoran (female) delta
2x nidorina delta
2x nidoqueen delta
3x wingull
2x peliper delta

18x electric energy
4x special metal energy

4x holon research tower
4x wallys training
3x bill's maintenance
3x holon farmer
2x lanettes net search
2x stevens advice

^^that look good, or no?^^
