So I realized today that I only need two more pokémon to complete my Sapphire Hoenndex, and one of them is Deoxys. Now, I have the ticket to get to Deoxys' island, but it's on LG. How can I get it over to Sapphire?

Can you attach it to a Pokémon and then trade that Pokémon over to Sapphire?

No, I don't think you can do that......

I think I tried doing that with the Eon Ticket once, and it wouldn't let me.

Anyway, Blackjack, I think you might have to get Deoxys in your Leaf Green version first, and then just trade it over to your Sapphire version.

Oh wait, is the Deoxys island only in Hoenn (and you can't reach it in LG)? O.O

Well, if that's the case, then I have no idea how you can do that.

Anyway though, it's cool that you have the Deoxys ticket.

I don't have that one, and I also don't have the one you need to get Ho-oh and Lugia in Fire Red version.

I am so unlucky. And the worst part is, there aren't a lot of people here that I can trade with. X_X

I have no idea, lol.

I just know that it exists, and I don't know anything else about it. XD

Man, Nintendo needs to find better ways to distribute those legendaries.

I mean, it would've been great if they gave out Deoxys, Ho-oh, and Lugia the same way that they gave out Celebi and the way they'll give out Mew soon (through a very widespread event across the U.S. that most people can actually go to, that's what I mean).

The most ideal thing I think would be Wi-Fi distribution, so people even in Nintendo-neglected places like Canada and Europe can get them. It just doesn't make sense to have giveaways at few or single destinations, seeing as the majority of people wouldn't be able to get the Pokemon. I'm personally unlucky when it comes to these things, as I live in Oregon, and have no means of travel (I can't yet drive, even though I'm 19, due to illness), even to a Toys 'R Us, unless I have a really good reason, or happen to travel to the area at the same time for something else.

Is there any reason that you have decided against unlocking Birth Island in your LeafGreen game? Deoxys, like many of the Kanto and Johto Pokémon, can only be obtained in Ruby and Sapphire by trading with other games; its inclusion in the Hoenn Dex is misleading (if it were not included, it would only be found in the National Dex, with no clear affinity to any of the regions).

Birth Island exists in FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald. Unlike the Eon Ticket, there is no way to share the Auroraticket, Mysteryticket or Old Sea Map (or their respective Wonder Cards found in the Mystery Gift section).

It is meant to be accessed from FireRed and LeafGreen, and as interesting fact, Birth Island is located between Six Island and Seven Island of Sevii Islands. It can, however, be accessed from Emerald - so there are no region traveling restrictions whatsoever (but technically, the Auroraticket had been distributed before Emerald was released in any of the countries).

I mean, it would've been great if they gave out Deoxys, Ho-oh, and Lugia the same way that they gave out Celebi and the way they'll give out Mew soon (through a very widespread event across the U.S. that most people can actually go to, that's what I mean).
I am not sure if you realize it, but there is a difference between downloading the Pokémon directly and receiving a special item which in turns triggers an event allowing you to obtain it in-game. Deoxys was recently distributed at the Houston Space Center as part of Journey Across America, in place of the Auroraticket. Does it matter? In so many ways, it does.

Unfortunately, it is only now that widespread events are held across the United States, and to a lesser extent Australia and some European countries, at a time when the use of Mystery Gift has become scarce even in Japan. It is not Celebi and Mew that are supposed to be distributed, but rather the Colosseum/XD Bonus Disc and Emerald Old Sea Map.

How do you send the Eon Ticket to Emerald? I mixed records and it didn't work, and I tried to find Emerald's mystery gift function, but I couldn't find it.

^ I'd like to know the answer to that as well.

Oh......

So you can only catch Deoxys in Fire Red, Leaf Green, and Emerald version (and you have to trade it to R/S).

I didn't know that it was located between island Six and Seven. I wish I had the Aurora Ticket so I could go over there. X.X

Oh, I see.

Yeah, I guess I forgot that simply downloading the Pokemon is a lot different than using a Ticket to get to a special place in the game, and then getting the Pokemon. ^^o

There are three potential problems that you need to consider:

A) The Link Cable must be connected so that the Eon Ticket game is in the one-player position (purple plug), then the ticket will be transferred to the game (Emerald) in the two-player position (gray plug).

B) Distribution of the Eon Ticket is only possible from a game where the item has been obtained, not transferred.

C) The American version of the e-Reader card was programmed to enable a maximum of five transfers.

and I tried to find Emerald's mystery gift function, but I couldn't find it.
Neither Mystery Events nor Mystery Gift have to do with transferring the Eon Ticket. But on the subject of Mystery Gift, it is unlocked in Emerald in the exact same way as in FireRed and LeafGreen.

Thank god WiFi trading isn't too far off. This is absurd.
