My perfect Pokémon Saturday was during the Kanto-Johto days. i was 5-8 years old. I would wake up early, i'll go outside and hear the lawn mowers going, smell the fresh cut grass, then see the mourning dew. Then I go inside and would get my cereal, Rice Crispes. Then i wait for the show to come on and have my games right next to me. Then i would watch the show. After the show, i would spend the rest of the day outside. Man i miss those days.

Same here! Pokemon Saturdays for me would usually consist of getting up and eating mom's home-cooked eggs and toast or something like that...then watching Pokemon and then going to soccer.

Ah, I remember this. Got up and went into my parents room and we watched Ash vs. Blaine on their TV. Beautiful day as well. *sighs* I don't have moments like that anymore.

Waking up after missing Johto's final ep a year or so later to find misty gone.

I usually didn't get to hype the episodes until Monday in school. "Did you watch Pokémon on Saturday? It was awesome! I have the card of that ep" etc. ;_; I hated episodes with cliff-hangers, it was so frustrating not to know what happened to them after Gyarados used Dragon Rage...

*sniff* So true.

I haven't had moments like that in a while, but my perfect Pokemon Saturdays were the episodes that I didn't miss.

mourning dew
...
Sorry, just found that too funny!

Anyway, we never had a Pokemon Saturday. IIRC they had an episode every day after school, so we got the whole season at once pretty much xD

haha, well i could not think of anything, right before i posted this, i actually put mountain dew by accident. luckily for preview.

I remember waking up every Saturday morning back in the Kanto days, always so excited to watch the newest episode of Pokemon. Back when all I really cared about was what Ash, Misty, Brock and Team Rocket were up to.

I really, really miss those days...I just don't get that way watching Pokemon anymore. :[

I used to record the eps on VHS, simply because I knew the eps wouldn't remain on TV forever and there was no such thing as youtube back then so no way to catch up if you missed an ep.

Of course I've since replaced my old VHS tapes with the DVDs....but there are still a lot of eps not on DVD yet...

Watching an episode of the anime on The Kids WB every Saturday morning followed by playing my Gold, Silver, or Crystal game on the GBC.

as I recall, I had to miss one episode once (the skarmory and cyndaquil one) and I got really upset, so my dad set the VCR to record it. But it didn't work so I had two hours of other shows on their to skip through before I found pokemon. Adn to think, the shows I skipped through included Static Shock, Batman Beyond, and X-Men evolution. Fun day.

Saturday Mornings where awesome for me back then. I used to wake up an hour before the new episode air, would kill the time watching w/e came before on KWB. Every week I looked forward to the new episodes. Lol..I still remember the Togepi Hatches episode promos and the Orange Island promos where they said a character was leaving...good times. I think my fondest memories are from the Blaine and Todds episodes to the beggining of Jouto.

But meh, since Saturday Mornings now suck, Cartoon Network now sucks, AND things like KWB and FoxKids no longer exist..theres Youtube. <.<
