Dhelmise Moves Overview

Dhelmise's Move overview graphic

Dhelmise has the ability Steelworker, which grants it a shield whenever one of its moves damages opponents after enough time has passed, along with increasing the damage from the next basic attack, and restoring HP after the shield expires.

Dhelmise's first move slot consists of Payback, which can upgrade into Power Whip or Whirlpool. Payback deals damage by swinging the user's anchor and applying a slowing effect to opponents. Power Whip deals damage with slashing the anchor horizontally, granting the user a shield, and leaves opponents it hits slowed and unable to act. Whirlpool deals damage by swinging the anchor diagonally and slows down opponents, with every third use of a move generating a whirlpool that pulls opponents toward the user

Dhelmise's second move slot consists of Bulldoze, which can upgrade into Anchor Shot or Heavy Slam. Bulldoze deals damage to opponents and throws them by shaking the ground by slamming the anchor. Anchor Shot deals damage by throwing the anchor in a specific direction, pulling a Pokémon toward the user and leaving it unable to act. Heavy Slam deals damage at the point of impact by lobbing the anchor in a specific direction, and applying a slowing effect.

Dhelmise's Unite Move is Seaweed Snare, which has the "Sure Hit" and "Dash" effects. The user throws its anchor and ensnares an opponent with its long chain, dealing damage and leaving it unable to act. The user then charges at the Pokémon, also dealing damage and shoving any other opponents that get hit. A portion of the user's HP is also recovered.
