diamond and pearl

I really don't see the point of this thread. Diamond and Pearl are pretty much exactly the same. The only difference is the main legendary and a few version exclusives. Perhaps maybe if it were a Dialga vs. Palkia topic, it would make more sense.

I think the person means which is the preferance of the person.

I personally perfer diamond, but that's just me.
 
Diamond. I haven't played Pearl yet, but the version exclusives are cooler in Diamond in any case (Don Crow! Fire Skunk! STEEL DRAGON OF DOOM WILL EAT YOU), and that's what really matters when picking the version you like most.
