Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum; Funniest Rival Battles

First Battle; He just had a Chimchar, beat him easily with my Turtwig.
I forget the rest, sorry... Except for this!
First Battle (at Fight Area); Sweeped his 57-6 with an 87 Magmortar. Including Infernape and Snorlax. AND Floatzel.

I didn't quite see anything funny in either of those battles. The first battle is just Tackle/Pound/Scratch spamming, while level differences of 30 levels do not prove anything.

I don't have any fun things myself against the rival, but that when I went against the E4 for the first time in my Pt with my 50-ish Pokémon, my strategy involved using countless Revives and bait Pokémon to make Bertha's Gliscor and Cynthia's Garchomp to use all PP from their Earthquakes.

I've got one.

A friend of mine was battling someone in Diamond over wi-fi I think. The other guy had all legendaries, so my friend used his Snorlax against them. I believe what he did was up his defense one turn and rest the next turn, over and over and over until the other guy just gave up.

I also used that strategy but DAMN it took a long time. Cynthia kept using her Garchomp to spam Dragon Rush, Earthquake and any other skill she has. In the end my first elite four try with my Lv72 Infernape (I cant believe I was darn addicted to training it) and my other lv40~50 pokemon ended up with 22 revives being used up.

Well it wasn't the battle it was just the encounter in Pastoria City cause I was all ready for the gyn leader and then I see him running and I'm thinking "Please don't see me and run off like Sonic" but then he turns and crashes right into the character and i'm like "Aw crud"
