Someone help this poor ghost out!

Anyway, I'm thinking I should switch from Generation III to IV, considering I bought my DS months ago and have only used it five times. :-/

Which one is better compared to the others? All help is greatly appreciated.
 
There was a thread like this recently. And everyone said "buy Platinum!", including me.
