Diamond Snow!

Hey, there's diamond snow in my game today!
I have no idea what's so special about today, but does anybody else know about any other diamond snow days and their significance?
Also, does anybody else have diamond dust right now, and do you know what's so special about today?

EDIT: My clock was apparently set a day early, so tomorrow is apparently a diamond snow day.

Thinking about it now, it should be pretty obvious, but I've never really been one to check the date, or even remember when days are.

Really, making a thread about something as insignificant as "diamond dust." (btw that is the official name for it)
Personally, I could not care less for it. Really does not affect the overall gameplay in any way.

To answer your question, though, the only days that I know of the diamond dust event are January 12 and April 22.
