Diancie to be distributed via Wi-Fi for PAL, North American regions: Will be available July 24-27

Diancie will be distributed via Wi-Fi from July 24 until July 27 for the PAL and North American regions.

Why can't they just give you the Diancite ALONGSIDE the Diancie that you can get via Wi-Fi instead of going to a Pokemon Center to get it separately? I mean, it's not that difficult to do, right? After all, not all of use live near a Pokemon Center, so why keep doing these kind of things when it's much easier (and more pleasing to the fans) to just let the Wi-Fi distribution do all the work? Heck, even the GameStop codes are easier and more efficient than this little idea. *Sigh* Guess I should just be grateful for the fact I'm getting another Diancie.

Uhm, don't they mean the in-game Pokemon Center? An event is triggered when you take a Diancie to any Pokemon Center in the game. Some NPCs will appear and talk and give you the Diancie Mega Stone afterwards.

Like Kyriaki said, the Diancite is given to you in an ingame Pokecenter (if you have a Diancie in your party) and not in a real life Pokecenter.

Glad they're doing another promo (now if they'd also maybe do a Jirachi one?) Anyway, happy about it, cause the first promo here was really badly organised and allowed the stores which handed out the promos to force you to reserve ORAS at their store (but which I'd already done ages before elsewhere)

This is just strange. Events have gotten very few and far between, and suddenly they're re-doing the exact same event we had 8 months ago?

It's nice to have a second Diancie, but we've been waiting almost two years for Hoopa at this point, and Volcanion hasn't even been officially revealed yet. Wish they'd get a move on!

I am glad they are doing this event again. I missed out on the previous Diancie event because of a few reasons.
(1) My nearest Game Stop is over an hour away from my home and it is not worth the drive just for a Pokemon.
(2) Game Stop stores have a limited amount of passwords, so even if I drive over an hour to a GameStop they might not have any more. People have told stories of how their nearest Game Stop was out on the first day.
(3) Even if the Game Stop had enough passwords, the employees will be very stingy and refuse to give passwords unless you pre-order.
I am so glad it is Wi-Fi this time. I can just stay home and receive Diancie.

Well, it's about time! Perhaps Nintendo FINALLY realized that their "GameStop passwords" thing wasn't working out as well as they'd hoped!

Hoopa will be distributed to promote the movie once the dub is released. Volcanion will probably be featured in some form in next year's movie and distributed then.

Ok this will be my first distribution event that I will actually be able to be a part of, so I have a total noob question, how do you get it? my current guess is the mystery gift option but I am not sure.

It says it in the article. But it's mystery gift and recieve through WiFi.

They need to stay in 2015 and use Wifi for distributions more often. Being forced to drive to a retailer for these things got old very fast. I am so glad to see this distribution happen!

I work nights and evenings, so usually when I'm awake, the stores are closed, so I can't make it in for Gamestop events. Luckily, last time Diancie was released, I had a day off. Plus I lucked in to a few Japanese ones. Still, it will be nice to simply wake up, stretch, and get a free one from the comfort of my kitchen.

Got mine. Soft resetted for a bit and got with a Naive nature (the nature i wanted), with really solid IVs (specially 31 in Speed).

Just downloaded my Diancie for AS, plan to do it to OR next. :) Super happy about this! I couldn't get a Diancie previously because I don't believe my Gamestop did the event for it, not to mention I wasn't driving 45 minutes to the next Gamestop around just to see if they did have a code or whatever. Going to get my two Diancie, send them to X and Y then wait patiently for Hoopa and Volcanion. ^o^ Thank you Nintendo!
