I don't really see why not, but it should be noted that this IS an existing stock press image of the Black DS Lie.

I think it is fake, as I found a very simmilar image of a Pink DS with Tingle on it....
 
That looks really neat, but I'm going to have to deem it fake.
Diaruga and Parukia just look like reused pictures.

That's all it would be if it were real too...

To be fair, yeah - probably fake. Like I said, this is a press quality image. You don't get those without an announcement and therefore actual news to go with it.

Without that, there's not a great deal of reality to back it up.

There probably will be a Diaruga/Parukia themed DS or DS' at some point though. I'd be more surprised if there wasn't.
 
Appearently it's real (in a way)
The image is suppose to be from gamewatch but I haven't checked it myself (too sleepy). I may get this (if it is real) because I like the gold and silver trim, however I'd want to see the inside too...
 
Looks like I will have to modify my import preorder form. Black and Pokemon! Must get!

I hate how they make it so the image is upside down when the cover is opened. It always looks odd to me (and when it's opened, other people are looking at it, so...)

My god, the gold and silver trim is gorgeous! This makes me almost wish I didn't just get a DS Lite for my birthday, but I know I couldn't afford importing one anyway. Also, do import DS Lites support English?

For a long time Apple had this problem on their laptops. Then they wised up to it a few years back.

All NDS games can be played on all NDSes and, I think, all iQue DSes as well. The same can't be said for iQue DS games, I believe.
 
Wow, now that looks legit. If this goes to lik-sang, I'll consider porting this since
I'm still on the hunt for a good DSlite :)

It's funny how a real version pops up days after the fake is posted.
(Unless the 'fake' were some prototype not to be released to the general public, but I doubt that.)

:D It looks impressive. I'm going to import one for sure. Couldn't have come at a better time. I'm 20 next week so I'll have extra cash on hand from parents, etc. Diamond and Pearl versions are going to look spesh running in the matching DS lite. ;)

Shame it couldn't have been a red. :p
