Did Pokemon ever had Character/Image Albums?

I'm well aware of the radio dramas, regular soundtracks, and the various albums from the 4kids dub crew, but did the characters have singular albums for themselves for their image songs or were they all just placed within the regular soundtracks?

Some of the ending themes might count as image songs. Other than that, "Roketto-dan yo eien ni" is the only one that got it's own single.

ironically, Nyaasu has several songs ("Nyaasu no Party" and "Polka o Dolka", to name a couple), and Kojirou at least has "Lucky Lucky", but Musashi (the one who's voiced by friggin' Megumi Hayashibara) has 0. For that matter, she's about the only regular character (besides Kenji and Masato) to not have one. Seriously, Satoshi="Mezase Pokemon Master"/"Spurt!!" (you might be able to count the dozen other Pokemon songs by Matsumoto Rica, though these ones seem like they were specifically played up as his personal theme songs... Spurt!! even sounds like it was sang in-character), Kasumi="Laplace ni Notte", Takeshi="Takeshi no Paradise", Haruka="Watashi, Makenai!", Hikari="Kimi no Soba de" (though I don't believe Hikari's seiyuu doesn't actually sang this, it still seems to be regarded as her theme song), and I already mentioned Kojirou and Nyaasu. Musashi has never had a song in which she's not part of a group (nor has Megumi sang a Pokemon song out of the character role, to my knowledge).

Is Lucky Lucky *really* an image song? It's so un-Kojiro. He's strong and assertive in it, while the character basically isn't. And he knows about Mewtwo in it, but that's a joke.

Tracey doesn't have an image song either, outside of a single verse in one song whose name I can't remember.

None of the movie characters save for Jirarudan and Melody have image songs either.

And I'd *like* to count "It Will All Be Mine" as Giovanni's image song (dub though it may be), but his VA didn't sing it, so I can't. Come on, would it have killed 4Kids to adapt it for Ted Lewis to sing on Karaokemon or something? They did it for "Two Perfect Girls" and Eric Stuart and that turned out great...

There was a verse about Tracey? How is that possible? He doesn't even have enough personality, I wouldn't think.

Is melody's image song the one she played on her flute? Cause I would think that that would be considered as Lugia's.... Although, I think of it as Melody's most of the time....

Melody/Flura's image song is Hateshinai Sekai, which is sung to the melody she plays on her flute in the movie, yes. And it's certainly her image song. If it was Lugia's, Lugia would be the one singing, right?

Oh, I didn't know there was a song with her singing. See, in the movie there's the whole thing with the song sounding like Lugia....

Ah right. No, that's not an image song, just a somewhat more vocal piece of music than is normally used, called "Hoshi no Kodou". The Celebi movie had a similiar piece (though that one was far more annoying).

One of my favorite Pokemon songs, Minna de Arukou, has Satoshi, Kasumi, Takeshi and Kenji's seiyuu singing in character.

(Lol, 666 posts.)

In the English version, Team Rocket and Brock got their very own songs. Misty got a theme song that wasn't sang by Rachael Lillis, so it doesn't count. But for everything else, there's always Pokemon Christmas Bash. *shudder* Oh the horror.

The song's credits list the singer as Kojiro, with "Shin'ichirou Miki" in smaller parenthesis, IIRC.

I would count "Type Wild" as a Satoshi song. In addition to her theme, Haruka has "Bouken no Hajimari da!!" from the sixth movie Pikachu short.
