Humans have lived in the same world as Digimon for almost ten years, due to the merging of the Digital World, and Planet Earth. The planet, known by both races, is now called Digital Earth. This planet is divided by two political boundaries, called The Great Divide. If Digimon cross to the Human side, they will be digitized on contact. The same goes for Humans, who will be killed by Digimon on sight. But, why would they want to go over to the other side? Everyone has what they want and need. Could it be for money? Power? Fame? Or just for fun? What happens when you yourself is faced with the decision to leave? You would face many dangers in the Digital Zone. Are you ready?

Welcome to Digimon Quest, a new RP of mine, for a long time. If you’re new, let me refresh normal rules. If you think you know them, READ THEM ANYWAYS! Remember, as with al RP’s, you need to try and unite. But, you may separate.

1. Normal Forum rules apply. If you are caught breaking one of these rules, you will be reported.

2. Standard Roleplaying District rules also apply.

3. No godmodding, whatsoever.

4. Please, please, write normally. Do NOT use chatspeak. And please, at least try to use good grammar. Then again, last I checked, this is a standard forum rule, so why am I saying this?

6. Rookie level and below only! Digivolutions will only occur in extreme cases, or through a Digivice (If you have one.) If able, you can DNA Digivolve, but make sure it is an actual Digivolve. Please, do not have too many Digivolution courses, as it will confuse many. Include a path in your Sign up.

Character Name: Ryouken “Ryu” Hasashi

Partner’s Personality, and History:

Dorumon is like his Partner, adventurous. However, this one only fully trusts Ryu. He has not brought himself up to trusting the others. Unless told otherwise, you can always see Dorumon beside Ryu.

This life is his first, as he was created as a Digi-Egg during the DNA World Merge. Dorumon took almost nine years to hatch, due to the f act that his Digi-Egg was infected with a rare disease that made its hatch time decelerate. He only recently Digivolved to his rookie form, sensing he would need to.

Digivice: Yes, Digivice iC; Dark red and light gray, almost silverish.

Personality: Fun loving, Ryu loves to explore everywhere he can. However, this is also his flaw, as sometimes, he stays alone, and gets into trouble. Ryu will remain loyal to his friends. He has a kind spirit, and will help those in need. If his friends are in trouble, Ryu will drop everything and rush to their aid.

Description:
Physical: Thinly built, not much muscle in him. About five foot four inches tall. Ryu has sandy blond hair, cut short, and does not style it, but is not bed head, either. He has deep blue eyes that you could stare into for as long as you wanted to. Ryu has developed a small tan over being outside so much.

Clothing: Ryu typically wears gray and dark red tennis shoes. He also dons a pair of light gray cargo shorts. He wears a white sleeveless shirt, with a red short sleeved jacket over it.

History: Ryu was born five years before The DNA World Merge, so he remembers a little of what Planet Earth was like. Sometimes, he wished it was still like that: nothing to worry about, and everything was fine. Here, every day on the news, someone would hear about a death relating crossing the Great Divide. He couldn’t stand it. He wished there was a way to stop people from crossing. That’s why he explores so much, to find out why. And to learn more of his surroundings. Ryu grew up without a mother, while his father worked, and stayed at home. Taking care of the both of them. He had no siblings, which he considered unfortunate. Ryu never knew what happened to his mother, as she died during The Merge. No one knows why she, along with millions of others died during The Merge.

Character Name: Kaguya

Age: 13

Digimon Partner:Terriermon

Digivolve Path:
Zerimon->Gummymon->Terriermon->Gargomon->Rapidmon->MegaGargomon
Zerimon->Gummymon->Terriermon->Gargomon->BlackRapidmon->BlackMegaGargomon (Only when extremely angry.)

Partner’s Personality, History, and Bio:
Terriemon is normaly very carefree and layedback, but tends to have a short temper and hold grudges. When angered he becomes brave and ruthless. He sometimes loses his sense of judgement and can digivolve into a dark form.

Terriermon used to be a skiled warrior Rapidmon, but soon after the merge he became a rebel. He despised the idea of killing humans on sight, so he began a group to fight back and bring peace between the two worlds. Unfortunately six years after the merge he was brought down in battle, but was soon reborn as a Zerimon. He has since digivolved back into a Terrermon, but hasn't regained enough energy to return to his strong form as a Rapidmon. He has been in hiding waiting to return to his rebellion.

Digivice: Black with red buttons. (Adveture 01 digivice)

Personality: Kaguya tends to be a kind person, but is easily angered. He can be anti-social and not talk much around others. He absolutely hates big crowds and likes to do thing on his own. He rarely makes friends, so he appreciates few he does. He hates to be annoyed and cn't stand people with no common sense. Angering him enough can lead to someone being punched in the face.

Description: He stands at 5'4" with amedium build. He has straight black hair that tends to cover his left eye. He wears a thin black sweatshirt on top of a red, shortsleeve t-shirt. He wears dark blue jeans, black sneakers, and black and red fingerless gloves. He wears a silver chain with a moon shaped pendant at the end.

History:Kaguya was born only three years before the merge so only has extremely faint memories about the Earth's former beauty. Kaguya grew up with four older siblings, only two of which survived to this point. His father was killed as well not too long after the beginning of the merge. His father had been one of the brave few to travel over the border into the unknown. Kaguya has since been observing the digital world from a far hoping to find a way to bring together the worlds in peace.

Character Name: Michael Clark

Age: 16

Digimon Partner: Gabumon

Digivolve Path: Punimon, Tsunomon, Gabumon, Garurumon, Weregarurumon, Metalgarurumon => Metalgarurumon X (with X-Antibody infusion) or Omnimon (when DNA digivolved with Wargreymon)

Partner’s Personality: Gabumon is intensely serious when it comes to combat. He never backs down from a fight and always gives it his all. he always strives to increase his power. He has an incredible urge to digivolve and wants more than anything to someday become a mega digimon.

Partner's History: Michael was exploring the outskirts of the great divide when suddenly a Hyogamon attacked. While it could not pass the barrier between the worlds it could throw huge chunks of ice in an attempt to crush him. Michael hid behind a tree as the Hyogamon proceeded to chip at his cover the huge ice chunks whittling away at his safety.

Suddenly a fuzzy ball of a digimon came flying through the air projected by his bubble blow and slammed into the Hyogamon's side causing it to reel into the barrier. It's arm immediately digitized neutralizing it's icy attack. The ogre turned on the Tusnomon ready to unleash it's Ice Cudgel on Tsunomon when Michael ran up and grabbed the Ogremon's loincloth and pulled back as hard as he could causing the digimon to fall backwards on top of him. Michael braced himself to be crushed, but the Hyogamon digitized as it fell through leaving Michael safe.

Since then Michael and Tsunomon have gone on adventures in the Digital World every day training and exploring the outskirts of the Great Divide.

Digivice: Standard Digivice, Black with Red Buttons

Personality: Michael is rather daring and enjoys exploring the digital half of the world. While he hadn't dared crossing into the digital world before meeting Gabumon. Now they explore whenver they get the chance taking joy in battles and the struggles they must endure. He hopes to help Gabumon reach his goal of becoming a mega digimon.

Description: Michael is a tall slim youth with dark hair and fair skin. His eyes are grey and cool and his features are always relaxed unless of course Gabumon is in danger. He is always seen with his messenger bag of supplies that he brings packed with food or medical supplies in order to take care of Gabumon.

History: Michael lived in America before the real world fused with the digital world. Now such distinctions don't mean quite as much. He's always been horrifyingly bored with the human world and the addition of the digital world was just too much for him to ignore. Ever since the fusion he's taken every chance he could get to explore. His family life at home is a bit rough, his siblings not being particularly close to him the addition of Gabumon to his life has been a huge change and has lead to him finding a purpose... to help Gabumon evolve.

I will. My idea was a corrupt executive who is trying to cause the Digital half of the world to overpower and consume the human half. He has a motivation for doing so, but it's not clear at first. If you want, I can PM you his real motivation. If ok, as well, he'd have a higher level partner Digimon being he's a villain, and would have sway through his partner to send digimon after the heroes. Sound ok?

I will make a human character, just need to find a partner that'll work for me.

Digimon Partner: Biyomon

Digivolve Path:
Puwamon-->Biyomom-->Birdramon==>Garudamon (or Garudamon X with the X Antibody)-->Hououmon
Biyomon-->Aquilamon--> Silphymon (if DNA Digivolved with Gotomon)-->Valkyrimon

(I’m not sure if I did this part right. It was kind of hard to do much other than that since most alternate evolutions for Biyomon are male)

Partner’s Personality, History, and Bio:

Biyomon is best described as the “Team Mom“ type. She’s kindhearted, motherly, and is the first to advise against doing something dangerous, but also the first to come to the aid of one of her friends in need. If someone needs advice, she’s often the first one to give it, but her knowledge is mostly confined to matters of the heart. While normally kind, she can get angry if someone does something especially stupid that she warned them not to or if someone has harmed her friends. If this happens, expect the guilty party to get a serious tongue lashing that’s been known to scare Champion level Digimon.

Biyomon was born about eight years after the Merge and spent most of her time caring for Digi-eggs after she grew older (where she picked up her motherly personality). About two years ago (soon after she Digivolved into Biyomon), however, she was following a little one who wondered off and got close to the Great Divide. A young girl on the other side managed to keep the little one from being digitized by the barrier and let Biyomon rescue it. Discovering the girl’s name was Akari, Biyomon, who’d previously held the normal Digimon dislike for humans, changed her opinion and befriended her) Since then Biyomon has aided Akari in researching the Digital World, in hopes of discovering the source of the merge and the Digimon themselves. Her hope is to put and end to what she now sees as a senseless feud between humans and Digimon.

Digivice: Yes. Adventure 01 (I love the design) style Pink with blue buttons.

Personality: Akari is kindhearted, but shy. She prefers to think things out before rushing into them, making her and Biyomon a perfect match. She can’t avoid helping someone in need, however, and will gladly risk her own safety for others. She’s intelligent, and often one to craft plans, but puts too much faith in data at times. In her mind, no one deserves to be hurt and the senseless violence between humans and Digimon needs to be stopped.

Description: About 5’4, wears blue jeans and glasses. She commonly wears a pink shirt with a red jacket and has blond hair. Her complexion is tanned due to spending most of her time outside, analyzing the world around her. She doesn’t talk much, except to her friends.

History: She doesn’t remember much about the old world, before the merge, but has been fascinated by Digimon since she was a young girl. In her mind, another race of sentient beings with vast powers is a treasure trove of knowledge and thus she’s studied them for years. Her father used to help her in this, but he died mysteriously about 2 years ago. Her mother became withdrawn and doesn’t care for her much after that, but luckily she met Biyomon, who gladly acts as a foster parent in their stead. Her goal is to find a way to allow all humans and Digimon to work together.

Miscellaneous: She’s a Tech Wiz and (if ok) her laptop has a database of the information she’s compiled on Digimon with Biyomon’s help (Like Izzy from Adventure 01)

Okay, there's obviously some confusion here, on what happened.

10 years ago, Earth and the Digital World merged together. This created what is now known as Digital Earth. Digital Earth is the same structure as Pangaea, one big continent. This continent is divided politically only. Guards, both Digimon and humans, guard each side of this political border (The Great Divide) and if Digimon crosses over to the human side, they are killed (Data and all). The same goes for humans.

Hopefully I cleared up some confusion. If you have any questions, please ask. I would be happy to answer them.

I basically recommend you pick your favorite digimon, probably from the first three gens.

Partner’s Personality, History, and Bio: Kyla meets Lopmon as Kokomon, it was born about 8 hours before meeting Kyla. It has those wierd memories, where you don't really remember the actual event but the feeling, of its previous incarnation. It, like Kyla, can seem happy-go-lucky, but when danger comes and there's a battle to win, turns serious.

Digivice: D-3, Pink middle, white grip.

Personality: See Lopmon's

Description: Has blonde hair that is done like Iris's from the Pokemon Anime. Wears a simple pink shirt, white shorts, and running shoes. Has blue eyes and stands about 5'4".

History: Born 3 years before the worlds merged, she doesn't remember much of the old ways. Ever since she was little she has wished that there was no Great Divide, or hostility between Digimon and humans, and so will do just about anything for this goal.
