Wow, the new main looks very Tai-esque. And where exactly are the other human leads hiding on the image? The first thing that jumped to my mind was that this was going to be the inverse of Frontier: few humans, lots of Mons. That'd be different (for the actual anime series, not including stuff like X-Evolution).

But hey, new Digimon. I'm sure the fanbase is happy. May end up checking this out some day.

It looks kinda like Power Rangers... judging from the picture in this link. I'm thinking that is why they didn't show any other kids, it may just be that one kid, who controls all five digimon, which all join together to become that giant mecha-digimon.

Tamers was my favorite, favorite because it gave the humans a purpose to the traditional formula (on top of the appealing monsters and story), really though, I think Digimon can use some re-working organization though... be more like pokemon (Not as in monster designs or game-play but with marketing structure and strategies, Bandai always before gave it more of a typical structure before, as if they didn't expect it to be as popular as it became and never reformed it after).

I hear it was called "Strappers" or something, which makes me think maybe they're really going back to their roots and having the Digimon summoned from key chain straps.

I hope it's kinda like Tamers. It was my fave season. I've a hunch we'll see the Coronamon/Lunamon duo and possibly Dracomon in the new season.

Before even looking at the comments my sister had the exact same reaction.


Tamers was amazing, but this one? I don't know. I was ready to give it a rest after Savers. However the concept digimon here are kinda mechanical to me, very robotic and not too exciting. I mean I get a Megaman world vibe off all the Digimon in the poster there. Not sure if I'll be following this one.

Even if it's as great as Tamers was, I'm kinda put off by the current design.

Hopefully this can lead to a "Tamers 2" or something.
...Hell even a "Frontier 2".
Shyautomon looks pretty cool.

It reminds me of Guilmon.

The whole picture reminds me of MeganMan Exe; the digimon have little chips that seem to go into the Digivice.

Oh dear god no. The series sucked after the third season ended. I'm not looking forward to the new season at all.

I suppose I'll give this new season a try like I did Savers/Data Squad (which was surprisingly good imo). Still, it looks unimpressive and the lack of any humans other than Tai...ki worries me. The last thing I want is a series where the only human main character is a carbon-copy of Tai.

Yeah, I don't think ditching the 5 (or whatever) Man Band would help the series.

Looking Awesome so far. I will have to watch it though to see if it is good or bad. though
