I've been questioning this for a while. After, what the thrid movie, 4Kids stopped featuring the movies in theaters.

Was this because the people watching them had dropped or because they simply sensed that the fad was ending?

I think now that PUSA is dubbing the movies and anime, that before (or after) they go on to feature the new movies, they could do a digital remaster on the older movies. What I'm saying is any from 1st to the 9th movies. The switch to HD was just that recent, I mean, why not?

Or, since we know that eventually (sooner or later) the franchise will end and they'll stop making the movies, they could do remasters on the older movies and release them in theaters for the first time.

This is all asuming it's not Japn where the movies have been featured in theaters already.

After all, once Harry Potter ends, we have nothing to rely on for the future of recurring cinema except more Saws and more crappy Pixars.

1. pixar movies are funny
2. wasn't there already a thread which asked why they didn't showed them in the theaters again?

1. Pixar is hilarious, but is not the future of film
2. Not that I know of and this is different anyway

Movie 3's theatrical release made much less than Movie 1, right? Let's not forget Pokémon was the thing in the late nineties. That's the only reason the movies were in theaters in the first place.

And there's no way the movies will ever be re-released in theaters, aside from maybe limited, one-location releases or things like that. Pokémon movies are a very niche market composed of small children and us.

And Pokémon movies are...? ._. You don't have to like them, but I really don't see how any of the Pixar movies, even the worst ones, could possibly be considered anything near "crappy".

Pokemon movies are *NOT* the future of film. Okay, I take it back, Pixar ranks about the same.

But digitally remastering still doesn't sound like a good idea?

I believe they stopped showing up in theaters because around then the Pokefad was dying down.

Pixar? I know I'll get commented and hated for this... but...
If you ask me, Pixar movies are horrible excuses for animation. Im not saying theyre bad movies, just that I dont think they're really animation.

Hand-drawn movies are much more interesting to watch and are usually much more creative. I dont care how blobby they can make a CG person, if you ask me, animated people/creatures are meant to move and be animated, not waddle.
I know most people dont agree, but whatever. Opinion, ok?

I think that after the PokeFad did die down, even now after the franchise is over

That they could try to do t least something like these movie rereleases to at least get some back into it again. Not even the purpsose, but just so I can see my favorite movies in theaters again :kawaii:

Pixar makes some of the greatest goddamn movies on the planet.

Anyone who disagrees is blasphemous by nature. Up, Wall-E, and Ratatouille are cinematic masterpieces.

Personally I'm not a fan of Disney-Pixar movies, but can we please get back on topic?
