Grass existed on Earth at least 10 million years earlier than was known, based on a new discovery in fossilized dinosaur dung.

It's also the first solid evidence that some dinosaurs ate grass.

Nice to know anyways. Though, Seeing as how grass is a very ravenous plant (networked over topsoil)
I would have imagined it's grassroots [ouch, pun] to be further back in the Earth's lifetime.
It would be a key factor in jumpstarting countless vegetation and ecosystems.
