Dipplin and Hydrapple make their Pokémon GO debuts October 10th as the Harvest Festival event returns for 2025

Pokémon GO once again marks the changing of the seasons early next month with the return of the Harvest Festival event, which this year is running from from Friday, October 10th, at 10:00am to Thursday, October 16th, at 8:00pm local time. The Candy Apple Pokémon Dipplin and Apple Hydra Pokémon Hydrapple will both make their Pokémon GO debuts during this event.

200 Applin Candy and 20 Syrupy Apples are required to evolve Applin into Dipplin. Dipplin can then be evolved into Hydrapple using 400 Applin Candy and by catching seven Dragon-type Pokémon with Dipplin as the buddy.

Apples
Beginning during this Harvest Festival event, Syrupy Apples will now occasionally appear on the map. Tapping on these Syrupy Apples will award Trainers with Sweet Apples, Tart Apples, Syrupy Apples, or encounters with Pokémon, including Applin. Syrupy Apples have have an increased chance of appearing at PokéStops with active Mossy Lure Modules.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonuses will be active throughout the event period:

• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon with Pinap Berries and Silver Pinap Berries.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Pumpkaboo and Shiny Smoliv.
• Increased chance for apples to appear at PokéStops with an active Mossy Lure Module.

Collection Challenges
Catch- and Evolution-focused Collection Challenges will be available during this event. Trainers completing these challenges will receive one Mossy Lure Module, Stardust, Syrupy Apples, and encounters with Applin.

Field Research
Field Research tasks will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these tasks will receive items, XP, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon including (but not limited) to Pumpkaboo, Applin, and Smoliv.

Paid Timed Research
Trainers will be able to purchase access to event-exclusive Timed Research for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Trainers completing these tasks will receive the following bonuses for the remainder of the Harvest Festival event:

• 2× Mossy Lure Module duration
• Increased chance to receive Berries from PokéStops, including Silver Pinap Berries and Golden Razz Berries.

Trainers completing these Timed Research tasks will also receive 30 Silver Pinap Berries, Three Mossy Lure Modules, and Encounters with Applin, amongst other rewards.

Trainers may gift this event-exclusive ticket to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Thursday, October 16th, at 8:00pm local time.

Harvest Festival Ultra Ticket Box
A Harvest Festival Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). It includes an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, plus three bonus Silver Pinap Berries.

Please note that only a single Ultra Ticket Box can be purchased by each Trainer.
