Anyone else thinking Jessie's role in the GF isn't playing out as great as we hoped?
In the first ep, we generally just see her do an appeal. OK, that was fine, that ep was rushed with Dawn/rival character interaction and appeals anyway. No problems there.
In the second ep, Jessie gets absolutely no battle screentime. We see 1 still screen of Jessie with Seviper/Yanmega, and that's it. So in other words, Jessie beat someone, but the impact is lessened because we don't get to see it.
In the third ep, we see Nando/Zoey battle and then Dawn/Jessie. We know Jessie will lose in the third ep. But if there are no shots of Jessie beating anyone else in the beginning, then we don't get to see Jessie have any on-screen win in the Grand Festival at all. I mean, what the hell? I wanted to see Jessie beat someone, not this "still screen" garbage because they can't be arsed to show it.
So in the fourth ep, Jessie'll likely just be sulking or whatever, and most of the time will be on the Dawn/Zoey battle anyway. It really feels as if Jessie's being screwed over in terms of screentime, which is mind blowing, because why did they even give her this subplot of making it to the GF in the first place?
