This appeared on SPPf, so I might as well put it here.

Tell stories of the monstrosities that you wrote when you were younger and less experienced as fan fiction writers or just writers in general.

One of my examples:

A story called "Forward to the Past" that I never finished writing - it was a Ryuusei no Rockman fic that involved "Geo-kun" (Pronounced ge-o [ゲオ], his real Japanese name is Subaru) accidentally going back in time to meet Lan, and all that naive crossover ideas you have when you're a kid.
This was actually my first work of fan fiction, dating back to about Grade 7 or so (I didn't even know fan fiction existed until then). It never really got anywhere, so I stopped it.

(If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go and watch Ryuusei no Rockman or Rockman.EXE.)

Unfortunately, I don't have any examples from Pokemon, because Generation 2021 is my first Pokemon work and I don't think any of the chapters are especially crappy.
 
None of my Pokemon fanfictions were ever that bad. However, my original character was such a Sue in the beginning - she could fly, talk to Pokemon, and was basically a self-insert. XD

But she also ran into trees for no good reason and spent most of the time trying to stop her Pokemon from blowing stuff up.

The only thing I have left from that era is this... deleted the other stories. Shame, they were so terrible, it was funny.

I can tell you my first attempt at a Pokemon story. It involved Ash being polygamous, the regions being annihilated with nuclear weapons, an evil empire, and Ash's son with Dawn that had red hair (?). So, yeah, I'm glad I never even wrote that.
 
Sorry, guys, but I talked with Archaic, and he agrees that this kind of stuff doesn't exactly belong in the Writer's Workshop. Keep it to the blogs, please. Thanks.
