This is a really great article talking about the independent comic industry as opposed to the big names like DC and Marvel. It talks about why they aren't as well-received, and why they SHOULD be. It also discusses four new Disney liscences that Slave Labor (comics publisher) has acquired, including Haunted Mansion, Wonderland (as in Alice in), Gargoyles (a continuation of the animated series), and Tron (Disney owns Tron?).
Very interesting stuff. Makes me want to go out and buy a bunch of indy books.
