Disney's recess

It was a great show but I doubt you're going to find much discussion out of it here since it ended a while ago. :p
 
It's just a little kid's Disney cartoon. What is there to discuss?
 
It reminded me of like, what All Growed Up, the Rugrats, should of been like...probably because it was made by the same people.
 
In finnish version of Recess have somes voices of finnish Pokemon.
 
i've never heard of a show called Disney's Recess.when was this show made?
 
Oooh, quite a while ago now. I think it was nearly ten years since the first series aired, and even now repeats are shown. I love the show, it's just one of those shows that overblows childhood and it's funny because you actually remember days in the playground like that. Stereotypes ftw.
 
Excellent show, I grew up watching it, I must have seen every episode atleast five times, quite literally.

The cast was like Class of 3000/ The Burger King Kids Gang. :p
 
Recess is awesome. As for it being a kids show, so is Pokemon. :p

Anyways, I always liked this show and still do. Its theme song is catchy.
 
It actually had some nice Adult Humor...I remember one episode Mikey got in front of tanks just like those guys in China did, which I found to be a nice little Current Event (at the time I think) joke.
 
In Finland Ash and Spinelli share same voice.
 
I thought recess was ok, but I don't like motor mouth tv shows. Recess told their jokes at a mile a min. and I found that irritating (I liked the movie more than the TV show though).
 
I LOVED that show... Takes me back to a day when American-made Saturday morning cartoons DIDN'T suck.
(And now the theme song is stuck in my head.)
Recess, Doug, Cubix, Men In Black... those certainly were the days. I idolized Gretchen. (The episode where TJ plays D&D was great, especially considering I finally get the jokes in that episode.)
 
Wow, I just loved this show and tuned in every Saturday to watch it. xD I have the movie and I just love watching it. ^^

Anyone see that Lilo and Stitch episode with the Recess gang?
 
I remember the underground nerds offering TJ a Pandachu from the Jamaicamon trading card series, or something similar. just thought id add that
 
I used to watch it afterschool when I was in middle school. Good times :(
 
Aww, adorable show. xD I used to love it! Saw the movie not too long ago. Great stuff!

Spinelli was my favorite, but I also really loved Gretchen, especially in the episode that spoofed private-eye movies. x3 That was one of the only episodes I only saw twice or so.

The kindergarteners were great! xD
 
I used to like the show but it was one of those things that I watched when I had nothing better to do.
