DNA Monsters

Hello I am looking for ideas for videogame characters for my new game DNAMonsters Its a little like pokemon. Yes. Your dna monsters do turn into bigger dnamonsters but not through evolution andtheres only 2 stages not three. So Please post any Species of DNAMonsters you can think of!

Feel free to be as creative as you can the sky is the limmit trustme u will see atleast 60% of your monsters on DNAMonsters!

These are actuall DNA Monsters Actuall DNAMonsters:

Plazi - Plazmaster

Plazi - Appearence a sphere head about 5 inch diameter with glazed eyes and a mischevious smile with little fangs a little stub tail with spines shooting out of the top.

Turns into Plazmaster when facing another snake-like DNAMonster.

Plazmaster - Appearence a large gray-brown snake that wears a skull on its head and has a flaming tail. It has firey decals all over its body.

(Note: DNA Monsters dont have moves like pokemon they have special abilities and when u make a new combo u get to name the move whatever u wanna name it.)

Also is this going to be 2D or 3D? I assume the theme of the series is like science fiction because of the name.

Well theres actually alot of different ways ur monster can transform except evolution even of old age! Techinically he evolves when he VERSUS another snake like monster.

facing a specific species or type of monster in battle.

personality

color of Blobo <-(I'll explain in a sec)

Before you have a DNA Monster you are trusted with a blob of Elemental Paste who's body structure is so sensitive it can transform its form into something more powerful or faster or u get the picture.

In every Continent (North,South,East,and West) there is a Master of the land that conceales all the secrets to DNAMonsters in his brain.

Right now there are roughly 25 DNAMonster Specie Chains( like Plazi and Plazmaster are the Pyro Serpent Chain) There are 10 elements in all (I'll explain them in POKeMON terms)

Pyro (Fire)
Hydro (Water)
Nature (Poison,Bug,Grass)
Cyber (Eletric,Steel)
Frenzy (Fighting,Steel,Ground,Rock)
Shadow (Ghost,Dark,Phycic )
Light (Normal sorta Otherwise uknown)
Draco (DUH! Dragon)
Aero (Flying)
Freeze (Ice)

I'll explain the stroy later I AM TIRED see ya later.

Blobos have special colors to show details about strength,speed,flight,etc. there are colors in all they are:

Red (Hotheaded, Mostlikely Pyro)
Dark-Blue (Mysterious, Hydro)
Yellow (Mellow, Cyber)
Green (Friendly, Nature)
Orange (Adventurous, Frenzy)
Black (Nasty, Shadow)
White (Tender, Light)
Purple (Fierce, Draco)
Pink (Bashful, Aero)
Light-Blue (Jolly, Freeze)

So far there are 5 masters:

Papa Jon
Dr. Matthew
Great Dwane
Mr. Cholley
Master Jack

Instead of Moves there are things called abilities which let you do things like:

Spit Fire Balls
Make Storm Clouds
Power of Life
Power over Electricity
Super Strenghth
Power to control Shadows
Power to control Light
Grow Scales, Claws, and Wings
Control of Weather

Yes the game will be 3D

I don't have names for them (I've never really been good at naming things), but I'll list what they are loosely based from. Basically the 5 types are:

Thunder (Thunder cloud, Raijin, Goat and Thor)

Dark (Ghost/Genie, Pipe Fox, Grim Reaper/ Weasel)

I pictured the lowest forms would still be like blobs (with the name like Blobo) so I tried to keep them simple and round. I also tried to keep all forms simple and round, and did my best to align them towards the personalities... but I think they all didn't stick too closely. (but I tried, lol) Like I said though, hopefully I didn't make them too complicated because I tried to keep it more basic.

Wow, you monsters look amazing. I really like the Dark Fox and the guy riding a thundercloud. Those look cool.

I made some changes to DNAMonsters Here are the types now:
Pyro (Fire)
Hydro (Water)
Nature (Poison,Bug,Grass)

Frenzy (Fighting,Steel,Ground,Rock)
Shadow (Ghost,Dark,Phycic )
Light (Normal sorta Otherwise uknown)

Sound (None - Noise)
Predator (Fighting, animal hard to explain)
Blade (Steel - swords,knives,sharp claws,etc.)

I just had a thought about the three form thing. Though I wouldn't mind making a middle form for all of them, how would you find new ways for them to evolve (or change, however you want to say it)? I mean, with only having two forms, you have a simple, yet effective way for them to change, but with adding a third form, you'll have to find all new ways for them to change. Now, you can have all the middle forms evolve from old age, but that would be unoriginal, and using blobos, most likely can't be an option if blobos are used for the first step. That, already, takes away some effective ways of evolution . Now, I can only think of one option of fixing this: going back to two forms. Though if you, or anyone, has another way of them changing into three forms without confusion, tell me, and I will gladly listen.

Also, one another note, are you a human in this game that owns the DNAMonsters, or are you the monster themselves? And if its the former, how many can you have with you?

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Um... middle forms, final forms, starter forms, you can use or arrange them however you want. Lol, it was my mistake, I was picturing "stage 2" like stage 2 in the TCG. Don't change the whole idea of the game, just use bits and pieces of however you want. I'm just happy you like them and can use them.

I don't think I can heavily join your team full time... But I can try to do what I can do, as I'm working on other projects at the same time, but the idea sounds neat so I'm willing to make more in the future.

Dear Crew,
I know there has been a lot of confusion so let me break it down for you guys.

First off

MUTATION
Your Blobo is a ball of elemental paste as said before* so technically their body structure is unstable which means when they come in close contact with an ITEM or ENVIRONMENT they'll stay a blobo but have features from what they'll turn into. EXAMPLE: A Pyro Snake Blobo will turn into Plazmo than later Plazmaster so the blobo will be an orange ball with a tail and spikes then through AGE into an OFFICIAL DNAMonster, Plazmo. Then through ITEM or a SPECIAL BATTLE they'll turn into a BATTLE DNAMonster.
EXAMPLE:

Red Blobo

turns into...

Pyro Snake Blobo (Through Visit to Steamy Tunnel)

who turns into...

Plazmo (Through Age)

who turns into...

Plazmaster (w/ Shed Fire )

Thanks for answering my question on whether you're a human or not, but I still have a few more questions:
1.How may DNAMonsters can you have?
2.I'm assuming we're going back to two forms?

Also, I have more ideas ready, but for a change, I drew them on paper. I would have scanned them now, but my scanner isn't cooperating with me, so I'll post them soon (hopefully tomorrow)

Ok Ill break it down U can have up to 10 DNAMonsters in ur watch* at once.

* Ur Watch is basically the ultimate tool. it helps u discover new things, holds ur junk u know. It comes inhandy when trying to reveal the secrets
to the nine prophecies. it also holds ur DNAMonsters so in a battle u need ur watch to send a monster into battle. another thing these battles arent like pokemon battles there are NO turns its just like a normal fight only its not u its a monster and theres alot of fire and ... u get the point.
and for all u guys i no ur curious about how many forms there are well there are 2 but before that theres a blobo NOw inbetween the blobo and the monsters theres something called meto-transformation that means that ur blobo is not a monster but is not fully a blobo anymore hes half a monster half a blobo like a chrysalis the catterpillar inside is not a full caterpillar or a full butterfly.
