The evidence you seek is right here!

And what exactly is it I'm supposed to be seeing?

Y'know, to tell you the truth, I may have recalled that 'tidbit' incorrectly.

I did a quick search on Google just now and found no evidence of Mister Ash Ketchum currently being 15 years of age in the Pokémon anime series. Rather, it seems as though all of the show's protagonists are locked in a state of perpetual youthfulness.

Er... I... uh... must've kinda imagined the part about Mister Ash Ketchum being 15.

I plead forgiveness, as I did not intend to mislead anyone. I realise now that making half-assed assumptions based on heresy found on Pokémon forums probably is not the best way to spread information.

STOP THAT INFERNAL CHEWING, GOD DAMN YOU!!!!!

I say no. I mean people who argue that Ash does get older will point to the difference in his maturity and stuff, but I still think he's supposed to be 10 years old...the same age as Dawn and May when they start out.

It's a cartoon why do people always think legimatly I mean come on people have imagination or something

Picard FTW.

But, to add a touch of logic here, Brock and Ash have both mentioned having known each other for years, and Kanto events have been referred to as being "years ago". So, QED, they have aged. It probably hasn't been mentioned because A: it's a cartoon, and B: it hasn't mattered to any storylines so far. Most people don't go around discussing their ages randomly; there are people I've known for a few years who don't know my age and I don't know theirs, because it isn't important.

i think the mention of 'years' and stuff is just to give some sense of how long the anime has been around, but i still think as a kids show, ash is still supposed to be 10. i know it contradicts the mention of kanto happening years ago or whatever, but still...i have a hard time believing ash is much older than Dawn, who we know just turned 10.

Do we *really* need another one of these threads?
