Do all/any of your friends know that you're into Pokemon? What about your family? Do you deny that you're into Pokemon if people ask, or is it something you're opening about?
I just barely started playing the DS games this year, which are the first pokemon-related items I've bought since Crystal came out. If someone at my college asked me if I play Pokemon, then I would say yes, and have no problem answering them. The games are fun and are a good way to kill time. (I haven't watched the cartoon in almost a decade though.)
But back when I was in Jr. High, I remember there were certain things I would deny that I liked, just because I didn't want to seem uncool in front of certain people. I'm glad I grew out of that.
Are you open to tell people, or are you in denial sometimes?
