• Hiya, everyone --

Recently we've been noticing there have been a few stories here and there that have been posted without content warnings. As a reminder, we ask that every work published in our Workshop contain content warnings, even if none apply (in which case, you can just mention that no content warnings apply). You can refer to a helpful guide on how to rate your stories here, but if you need any further assistance, please feel welcome to contact a Workshop staff member! We're here to help.

Thank you all for helping us ensure our community is a safe and healthy one, and for your continued patronage in our Library and Workshop.

It's that time of year again, folks! No, it's not Thanksgiving or Christmas or Hanukkah or Winter Solstice or anything like that - it is time for something far more important.

It is the Winter Awards!!!

The nomination period opens on December 1st and you will have one week to nominate your own work and the work of your fellow writers. I am thinking of perhaps being more lenient this time and letting chapters posted during the voting round be considered, but in any case, if you have chapters you want to get up and be considered, aim for the 8th to get them posted by.

Full nomination rules and details will be outlined in the next thread. This is, as always, the friendly reminder to kick your rear into gear and start thinking :) Also, I have not heard back from half the judges from last time, so if you would like to spread your wings and giving judging a go, I am always happy to welcome new people - just send me a PM

Until next week, put ORAS down for a few hours and get writing!

Yours sincerely,
Santa Claus

Hohoho, I better get to work on a few poems if I want to nominate anything. :)
