After having a little "dispute", I'd like to know if the people who got Pokémon Battle Revolution enjoy playing it. I enjoy it because I get to battle random people online, something that no other Pokémon game has done yet, and I can battle my friends in 3-D. The Mystery Gifts are also a nice bonus as well. Also, why do people claim that it sucks just because it has no story mode when most people don't even play Pokémon for the story, not to mention the great success of Pokémon Stadium 1 and 2?

Hm... you're making it sound worthwhile to me. Dammit! I was hoping to save this money. xD

I honestly thought that since it has no story mode, I wouldn't like it. I like playing Pokemon for the story. :p But I also like battling, when I can meet someone who doesn't use ubers all the time, lol. And I didn't know anything about mystery gifts. What's that all about?

I find it to be pretty fun...unfortunately, my 36-hour work shift this week has impeded me from playing it....

Oh it's WONDERFUL!!! The mystery gifts are things like rare berries, a surfing/volt tackling Pikachu and many TMs!

Honestly, seeing your teams in 3D is FANTASTIC!

Here's a link, sorry if the site it's from offends:

In the game, you get Poké Coupons after completing a colosseum. You get to spend them on either gear for your trainer, or on Mystery Gifts. The Mystery Gifts are rare items that can be sent to your Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl game. If you want, I can list the Mystery Gifts for you.

Are they those items listed on the link magpie posted?

Either way, I'd be interested. :o I need to hook my Wii up to wifi, lol. This'd just give me another excuse to do that. xD

The Mystery Gift feature is certainly nice, though during the instructions for receiving it, it mentions that you can't get more than 1 of any particular Mystery Gift. The only Mystery Gift I've picked up so far is Pikachu, so I'm not sure if that is actually the case or if I just misread something.

Anyway, I found it somewhat amusing that I never saw a single actual Pikachu in the entire first pass of the single player mode. There's Pikachu themed stuff, trainers cosplaying as Pikachu, people using Raichu and various Pika-clones, but no Pikachu. Was this just me?

No, none of your opponents use Pikachu the first time you challenge the colosseums. However, you can get a rental Pikachu.

Yeah, it was surprising that the people saying "I love Pikachu" and stuff like that didn't use one. You don't see one until you battle Joe in Stargazer Coloseum.

No, Joe doesn't use one. None of them do the first time. After completing a colosseum the first time, your opponents and their Pokemon are completely randomized.

He means in the Masters Battle. Masters Battle is the only non-random challenge, in which the four trainers in each of the eight sets have the same Pokémon every time.

Joe's team in this circumstance is Torterra/Empoleon/Infernape/Aipom/Staraptor/Pikachu.

Anyway, I chose Yes. I greatly enjoy it.

You can totally get more than one Mystery Gift. You can't get more than one Pikachu per D/P cartridge. I'm not sure if you can get more than one of the items? I've only gotten a Dawn Stone off of PBR, so I'm not certain if you can double up on items.

Anyone know?

That was totally hilarious ^_^ Especially since you keep unlocking a full Pikahcu suit =D
