Do you ever find that in the movies they always have better animation?

The quality and sound are always better in the movies rarther than in the anime. Why dont they have better animation etc in the anime? I mean if their capable of having good quality programes why dont they make the anime in good quality?

:confused:

I have to disagree with you about the bgm in episodes - I mean, they use plenty of movie bgm in episodes by default!!

They have to churn out an episode EVERY week for 11 years in a row.

Movies come out once a year, so they can work on them separately to regular episodes.

If each episode had movie animation, we'd get maybe 2 eps every 2 months.

Actually, I've seen plenty of anime with pokémon movie-quality or better. They just want to save money instead of hiring more animators and equiptment.

I don't know why the complain in the show's animation. It's not bad and it's gotten quite far from what it was in the beggining. Ignore the crappy CGI effects and the occasional bad animation team and your set. It's got rather enjoyable animation. <.<;

Movies have better animation because of the obvious..

Because the money for the movies is larger than the actual series, plus I don't think that they prepare the movies ahead a year or two. That's the reason why the animation in the movie is better than the anime series. And that's the reason why they have a professional anime team doing the movies.

The movies do look really nice, but I've never though the animation in the tv shows wasn't good enough?

Well, the movies are appealing to much larger fan base. Besides, they are projects that take months in advance (especially with the research). Each of these episodes takes about a week to produce. It is logical that something that has been made with a lot of time and consideration would be better than something that has not been devoted to as much.

The thread needed to just end with budget. That's basically all there is to it.

Haha. Wow.

The movies take about a year apiece to do. Not "months."

And the episodes take 4-6 months apiece to finish. Suggesting that each episode of the TV series only takes a week to make is just absurd.
