Do you feel the Meloetta Subplot is Celebi 2.0, and is this a sign of no Team Plasma?

The GS Ball was dropped, so Celebi could appear in M04.

Team Plasma also appears to have been dropped as a result of the recent(geology-wise) Earthquake(I capitalized it for that reason).

Do you think that the writers have traded one unused plot for another, I.E. Team Plasma for Celebi->Meloetta following our heroes? And do you believe this proves we'll never get Team Plasma, the return of Looker, Cilan the Spy-In-A-Mask(for the ladies/alternate sexuality crowd), Giovanni prior to Best Wishes 2, Pierce's disappearance, Black Uniform TR, Liepard, and Professor Juniper's Minccino due to the Earthquake victims' "trauma"(I have yet to see evidence of this or any reason why TP cannot be sshown that doesn't involve PETA, Politicians interfering, 9/11 building drop scene conjectures, Earthquake victims or "too mature themes" postulations. And putting something on hiatus for this long means it won't be shown, sorry.), which also further killed high-powered Ground-type moves?

I think that the Meloetta plot would be happening one way or the other for the simple reason that Meloetta can't be squeezed into a movie, and a movie short isn't a proper alternative. If anything, it is the Kami trio that might not be featured in the upcoming season if Team Plasma and the Tao trio received the focus instead. But Meloetta and Team Rocket are probably the constants here.

A more fitting analogy to the GS Ball situation would be Reshiram and Zekrom being prominent in Movie 14 as opposed to the TV series. But Movie 14 had been designed that way before the Plasma episodes were canceled, and Dialga and Palkia prove that it is possible to make several appearances in the anime and movies (in the same generation). So the real analogy would be in the form of Team Plasma being featured in next year's movie, but that is a hypothetical scenario at this point.

No valid explanation was given for the GS Ball being dropped. It could have been used in Movie 4, or alternatively, Celebi could have made more than one appearance in Johto. Similarly, Team Plasma, like Giovanni, can exist outside the now irrelevant Meteorite plot, so I don't think that the cancellation of those episodes explains why we haven't seen signs of Team Plasma yet. Honestly, both the GS Ball and Team Plasma may require more care than what the writers can handle.

Meloetta not in a movie, but in the show=Celebi in a movie, but not in show.

And I still think PETA would sue if TP made it to the big screen for the same reason Uri Geller sued Nintendo:Slander by Defamation of Character, as Team Plasma is in Unova, which is New York/New Jersey, which are part of America, and PETA is American, so, logically, Team Plasma is basically PETA, and they would have a legitimate(by BS US lawsuit standards)case.

And there is the recent earthquake and victims of such, the mature theme of "Animal Welfare or Rights?", Marketing BS, the preview scene with a Liepard's Hyper Beam cutting a skyscraper which knocks down a adjoining skyscraper(US Conservatives would call this a 9/11 "joke" and censor it), behind-the-scenes censorship of Earthquake, Fissure, Earth Power and Magnitude by the Japanese government, and the ground visibly shaking on-screen to consider.

I don't see how that's relevant to the Team Plasma and GS Ball analogy. The fact that Celebi was used for a movie doesn't explain the GS Ball being dropped, whereas Meloetta not appearing in a movie is simply unrelated to Team Plasma. I do agree that Meloetta joining the group for an arc is comparable to what the writers originally wanted to do with Celebi, though, which is not to say that Team Rocket would have necessarily been involved.

Although @The Hooded Claw; please stop attributing Team Plasma's absence from the anime to a conspiracy involving PETA (or US conservatives, for that matter) until you actually have any real, direct evidence as such. You have made this claim many times before and, until you have a proper news source to back it up, it is totally uncalled for.
