Do you get used to the once-per-week episode schedule of a releasing anime?

This was a detail I sort of forgot to ask when I made a different thread about what anipoke you watched was releasing in real time

Do you get used to the once-per-week episode schedule of a releasing anime? Or do you think it's too long and you watch/do other things to distract yourself from the wait?
 
I like weekly schedule for the social factor, it lets people discuss and speculate in real time. It also gives more room to think about and discuss what happens in each episode in more details.

Other than that, yeah, I just watch or read other serials I follow, or do literally anything else.

...and to be honest, as someone who grew up with TV serials, anime or not, the binge model also feels weirder to me.
