Do you have bad computer habits?

I have bad posture that isn't helped by the cushy chairs I'm saddled with. I have no workplace to speak of, which wouldn't be as bad if it at least included a desk, but that's more of an economic problem than a habit. What are yours?

I tend to slouch over my desk. It's probably a terrible position to stay in for hours on end. I also have a habit of sitting way too close to the screen. My back and my eyes would surely benefit from less time at the computer. Wont happen though.

I'm always finding myself slouching and staring too close to the screen. I also stay on the computer far too long, to the point where my eyes don't even hurt anymore.

We'll I'm on here and other forums over 9 hours a day,hmm what'd y'all think?

When I wake up, if I'm not already at the computer, I make my way over there. I spend the majority of my free time here. When it's time to work...well, I work from home, on this very same computer. I snack while on the computer. When I go to sleep, I often fall asleep in the middle of doing something on the computer. This isn't very comfortable when I wake up, but it also means I waste less time, since I don't have to walk over to the computer in the morning, I'm already here! Honestly, it's a wonder I'm not a blob (I feel obligated to watch what I eat and do light exercise whenever I get up to do something to compensate for my general sedentariness).

I guess that means my worst habit is spending way too much time on it. Though, my neck and back would say that the office chair naps are the real killer.

For you other marathoners, if you find eye strain to be a common issue, I would recommend looking into a company called GUNNAR Optiks. Their glasses are a small investment, but it's one of the best purchasing decisions I've ever made.

Staying up too late every night. It's half 3 right now.

Slouching over the computer, and, on my hols, I use a CRT Monitor in my holiday home, which is going to wreck my eyes sooner or later.
