Do you have problems sleeping?

Personally, ever since I started high school I've been getting barely any sleep. I go to a really demanding school so I would find myself doing homework up till 2 or 3 am and getting about 2-3 hours of sleep. I thought that over the summer, I would be able to have somewhat normal sleeping hours, but I'm still getting barely any sleep. I just wanted to hear other people's experiences or problems. Feel free to share.
 
Well, I fly from Southern Arizona to Upstate New York every spring and summer (this year winter through summer) so jetlag craps up my schedule.

Also, I never can seem to fall asleep till about an hour after I lay down.

Maybe it's all the time I spend online. I guess I'm easily excited.
 
YES I have insomnia and it SUCKS!

I'm usually up until 7-9AM in the summer.
And in the school year I'm able to get about two hours of sleep.
My teachers asked my parents if I was on drugs because my eyes look so fucked up everyday -_-'.

I'm lucky my eyes aren't fucked up all the time too. I guess its because I make up for my lack of sleep by dozing off in every class. At first my teachers complained about it but as time went by they just accepted it and started to make fun of me. lol
 
I always wake at 4 AM for some reason. I can go to sleep, but waking up, I have no choice but to wake at 4. I can go to sleep after that, of course but...
 
Nope... My sleep is un-possible to disrupt... :D... And I sleep minimum 10 hours a day... :D...and 8 during the school year...
 
Like you wouldn't believe. I'm a night person who hates waking up before 9:00 AM. Which is pretty much every day.
 
I've been an insomniac since birth >:D But I find that plenty of self exertion makes me tired, durrrrrr. So I usually fall asleep earlier during school time because I actually do stuff when I'm at school.
 
My only problem with sleeping is that I always get up after 12pm. I cannot wake up before that time.
It's going to be a massive culture shock for me when school starts again and I have to get up at 7am.

But otherwise, I can get to sleep fine, although I like staying up all morning.
 
I have no problems sleeping. I'm always in bed before 11 and up at or before 8am. The only time I usually am up late is when I am out with friends on the weekends, then they keep me up till like 2-3 :dizzy: (how you people can do this everynight is beyond me!) I've always been a morning person, so it really doesn't bother me. I used to be big into sports and fitness, so morning was my run/bike ride time. I had to get up early if I wanted to not roast in the summer sun. Also, after many hours of physical activity in a day you find it very easy to get to sleep at night.
 
No. Not at all. I usually fall asleep very quickly, and I can fall sleep pretty much everywere. I also have no problem at all with not having much sleep. With my school excursion to Tuscany (starting from the netherlands) I only got about an hour sleep (was playing tetris ds with friends on the bus xD) but I still was as fit as ever the next day. I do have one little problem tough, It has to be really dark for me to fall asleep, which means it's hard for me to sleep at day, or when to many lights are on when I try to sleep... Oh yeah, I also sleep through any kind of noise xD

I have an extremely hard time sleeping. It takes me over an hour to fall asleep every night, and more often than not I always wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep for another hour.
 
i don't have bad insomnia or anything, but once i decide it's time for me to go to sleep i just lay in bed forever. it's kind of hard for me to actually feel tired, and i can't stay in the same spot and let myself drift off. i toss and turn a lot.
 
Actually I don't really. I could sleep at any time of the day or night, sleep though some loud noises and even a storm outside would not wake me. For this reason I have overslept many times. I have to get someone to wake me up in morning or before you know its 1pm and I just woke up!
 
I don't really have any problems sleeping. Sure, I get the occasional night where I can't sleep, but usually I'm lucky enough to drift off right away.
 
I have to make sure I go to bed before midnight during holidays, and possibly before 11 pm. Otherwise, I sleep until 11 am or later, plus I'm tired and have a terrible mood the other day.
During the school year, I don't really have problems.
 
Take last night for example. Couldn't fall asleep and now I feel like I'm wearing football gear.
 
It usually takes me at least half an hour after I've laid down to fall asleep which can be extrememly annoying at times.
