I started journalling a few weeks ago to regulate my emotions more easily and I'm enjoying it so far, so I was wondering if there was anyone else out there doing something similar? It could be a diary, a bullet journal, a junk journal, etc. Also, feel free to share any prompts or ideas if you want <3

I use the one on my phone mainly when I’m Going Through It and i wouldn’t want to talk about it to another real human being ajdjjsjsjss I really need to do it more regularly but I truly can’t find anything to write about most of the time

No, but I really want to. ;o; I bought some journals to use for this purpose but haven't started using it yet. Mostly due to laziness haha. But I really need to, most of the things that happen in my day-to-day life will be forgotten very quickly, and it'd be awesome to have something to look back on for memories/nostalgia. I will do it soon I swear!!

I don’t, but I want to. I think it’s more beneficial to have a physical journal. There’s something very relieving about writing your thoughts down and it hits differently than if you’re just typing on your phone’s keypad.

Even if I’m not using it as a journal all the time, it’ll be nice to have a place just to jot notes down.

I keep a journal for writing down my dreams I have at night. I've been doing this for many years and am already writing on my second journal.

i've thought about this so. many. times.

the problem with me journaling and chronicling anything - and i keep running into this wall - is that my life is not interesting. very rarely does anything deviate from the norm enough to be noteworthy. any sort of journaling would just be sporadic pages at best about things that might've had an impact on my day, otherwise it's business as usual.

which is kind of a shame because i don't mind writing, but i need to have a purpose for it. writing with a purpose is why i got into writing in the first place. but without that... there isn't a point in me writing anything.

I used to write in diaries when I as little. Then, twenty years ago, I got Xanga and LiveJournal. I've had a private LiveJournal where me and a longtime friend post for a long time.

Sadly, I've noticed that LJ seems to be run by Russia or something nowadays and thus I am feeling like I need to move, but I don't know good alternatives for my friend and I.

i've tried journaling manyyy times, both physically and digitally, but unfortunately it's historically been really difficult for me to stick with T_T typically not for more than a few inital entries... i think i tend to get in my head about things like what would be worth writing about, and being consistent, especially if it's something that can be viewed publicly (like a blog for instance)

most recently, i've started writing on my computer's notepad app, which is honestly really nice? i think the simplicity of it is helpful for getting me to write quickly without getting tripped up over minor things :) fingers crossed i'll be able to keep it up... lol
