We've seen over 70 episodes of BW. And almost everytime there had been Cilan's tasting time - in various forms, of course XDD

How do you feel about it? Do you enjoy his explanation of battles/fishing/subways/whatever compared with tastes?

He can taste everything any time.

But yes, I like it. It doesn't bug me at all and makes me actually smile.

I've never heard him say "It's tasting time!" I've heard him say "It's evaluating time!" and other similar phrases though. xP

But this is one of the reasons I love Cilan. I think his catchphrase is awesome. :D

Yes. I love the food metaphors and how in-depth his analyses are. His enthusiasm always brings a smile to my face.

The only thing about it that makes me groan is knowing Iris is going to groan about it.

I love everything about Dento, so that does indeed include his memorable catchphrase. He might as well be god, he does and seems to know about everything. All hail the sparkles king! *fangirls*

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last three times he's used it in battle (Luke, Skyla, and Stephan) led to a loss, right?

It's Subway Time, It's Movie Time, It's Siesta Time...

I really love Cilan and everything about him *-* ♥

I never liked it the first time I heard it and I ain't going to like it for the rest of this series.

He still sounds like a freak who eats pokemon. There I said it. Comparing everything to food is just as freaky as Dubbed Chumley's obcession with Grilled cheese and the word "lecious". He level of insight is basic. But outside the context of battle it is okay although irrelevant

Ugh! No, his catchphrase and attitude is the reason I think he's an absolute freak. He won't stop saying either spicy or recipe in EVERY episode! I mean, I hear people complain about Brock knowing too much, and sure there's Brock's crushes, but THIS guy is a true over-eccentric know-it-all. A lot of people appreciate him "for the lolz" because that's what he was made for. But lets say he was an actual person. In real life, would he be more of a public embarrassment than Brock? It's alright if you still like Cilan, but I'd prefer if they went back to the somewhat more mature guy in Ash's group, thank you.

I loved it at first, but later... it got kinda boring.

Don't get me wrong. I love Dento, but his tasting time/evaluating time can get really annoying in my opinion, but that doesn't make me dislike him in any way. I'm just extremely annoyed by the fact that it takes up a huge amount of a battle's screentime, like that one with Dento Vs. Luke, as well as Iris Vs. Ash. It's really irritating, and it makes some battles really stale.

I absolutely loved how Kenyan was all like ''FUCK NO'' when Dento was going to evaluate their battle, and then just gave Pansage a smack that completely put Dento off-guard.

Remember the officer Jenny from the darkrai episode in canalave city "It's arresting time" love this episode now after seeing Cilan.

My love for Cilan is Simaluir to my love for my little pony friendship is magic, it is like being a bronie, cant explain it , don't understand why but I love everything about Cilan

Eh, I don't hate it but it can be pretty grating at times, not to mention unnecessarily time consuming. Sometimes it seems a sommelier's job is to give the smallest amount of advice in the greatest number of words.
There are many great things about Dent's character, but this is not one of them.

I love it. I just like how hyped up he is about everything because it makes that thing just more interesting. To be honest, some episodes have only been interesting for me because of Dent's tasting time and crazy antics. So yeah, it just makes me smile every time. : )

Certainly. It's a lot of fun. And I like that he puts more variety to his catchphrase of other things he does besides "tasting/evaluating."
