As you probably know, Disney has a history of both animated and live action series. The quality of both types of films/shows is usually debated, with both sides arguing for the supremacy of their favourite type of Disney work. What is your opinion on this matter?

The animated ones are legendary at best. I can't even recall a single live action film. So yeah, I think I'm going with the animated ones :p

I like Disney's quality films equally, whether they are live action or animated. Even movies with a mixture of both, such as Mary Poppins or Song of the South are great in my book.

Animated, for sure. Best characters, best songs, not to mention I love animated movies of every stripe.

Generally, I am going for animated ones. This is because the quality of the animation sticks out to me as going back to my childhood times of enjoyment. However, that doesn't mean I am purely an animated person. Some live action movies are quite enjoyable, like Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and arguably Enchanted.

Thanks for reading.

I voted "Animated", but I think it should be broken down into traditional animation and computer animation. Traditional animations is way better. I don't know if it's because they had better ideas back then or if it's the style itself, but none of the newer movies (which are all done by computer) can even compare with the older stuff. I can't stand the sequels though, like The Little Mermaid 2... it makes no sense. She was a human in the end of The Little Mermaid, and now she's a fish again?! I never saw it so I don't know what happened exactly, but I doubt that she'd ever want to become a fish again after going through all the trouble to become human in the first place. The Aladdin sequels were okay but maybe that's because I was a little kid when I saw them.
But in general, I don't like Disney. Even the movies I do like... they're all just adaptations of well-known stories. And some of the changes that Disney makes to them are just terrible. One example that comes to mind is Hercules... they could have stuck to the original story and it would have been great. Instead they made so many changes that it has nothing to do with Hercules except for the fact that his name is "Hercules". And I don't think that what they did was at all an improvement.

I think I go for the animated movies, but I remember watching a live action by Disney called The Black Hole. I also got the soundtrack to this film. It's a sci-fi, with a very trippy ending. Would never guess it was Disney, even though their movies are rather psychotic sometimes.
