Do you tend to ship counterparts, coincidence or not?

As in you like a pairing and you like it's counterpart pairing from another continuity. Like Pokeshipping and MangaPokeshipping.

I can't really say I do.

For example, I like Twinleafshipping (Damion/Dawn) on various different levels, but I very much hate not Futabashipping (Barry/Dawn) or Mitsumi/Jun.

When it comes to Pokespe I don't really ship. I ship anyone with anyone and everyone. With other manga, I'm more picky but I don't really ship the shippings in other media. When it comes to the anime, the only shipping I like that I like in another continuity is Pokeshipping (I like MangaPoke, Red/Misty, Satoshi/Misty and Isamu/Misty.)

Futaba = Twinleaf. There's no differentiation between the characters used. It's not "one's the anime and one's the game".

It's both: "this character and this character, no matter if it's game or anime."

Well some times I do, cuz people who like another ship will want another ship to like that doesn't affect there's. Take Penguineshipping for example, I'm sure many Pokeshippers and Advancedshippers took a liking to that one cuz it wouldn't cause a problem for there own. See, Pearlshipping has Ash in it, so it'd be a problem for them. Than again, there are also multi Ash shippers out here like myself who don't care.

No. I really don't. For example, in the anime, i don't support Twinleafshipping but in the games i do. As for Pearlshipping, i also support Pokeshipping as well as Pearlshipping. I also ship Dawn with Gary-Cavaliershipping. Yes, i ship multiple characters, but usually not in counterparts.

No. Like, for example, even though I'm a ChoosenShipper I don't ship Silver x Leaf, and even though I support Jun x Mitsumi and Pearl x Platina, I ship anime!Dawn with Conway and game!Dawn with Riley.

If I do end up shipping counterparts, it's always a coincidence. Actually, I often go out of my way not to, just for the sake of mixing things up.

Yeah, usually. Sometimes I ship a couple more in one media, but only rarely do I outright dislike one form of it. I mean, there's has to be some huge differences in characterization for me to not like a counterpart ship. Even then, if both characters are different enough the ship can still work on a different level. And one character being vastly different doesn't always mean the ship will no longer work in my eyes, so...

Non-rambling answer: Yes I do.

i mean, they're both pretty ornery, but other than that...

anyways. i can't really say i ship counterpart characters... mostly because i see them as being v. different. in my mind, blue is a lot different from leaf, green is a lot different from gary and manga!green, and so on and so forth. there are a few exceptions... i like green/blue & green/leaf, for example, and dia/pearl & barry/lucas. but in most cases, no.

I don't really. I like Franticshipping but I don't care for Hoennshipping, I'm kind of a Pokeshipper but I don't like MangaPoke (Special is my preference), and though I ship Twinleaf in game/Special and Jun/Mitsumi (Haughtyshipping, isn't it?) in DPA, I am much more of a HeatTag anime shipper than I am TL anime shipper (I still like TL!anime-verse but HeatTag is my primary Dawn ship for the anime).

The exception would probably be Manga/Questshipping because I like Gold/Crystal and Kenta/Marina.

Not really. Matter of fact, I ship Mistumi and Jun, Games!Dawn and Barry, but not Anime!Dawn and Barry, since I prefer her with Paul. I only ship counterparts for Dawn only. I like Choosen, but Silver and Leaf I don't. I like BurningLeaf, but Lucky isn't my cup of tea, even if someone counfuses BurningLeaf for Lucky. I like Pokeshipping, but I just don't Misty with Games!Red. Let me stop there since I can go on.
