Do you think any of the characters will get redesigned in the remakes?

The character designs for RBY are now pretty old, and Ken Sugimori's style is very different now than it was back then. Do you think the Gym Leaders and other characters will keep the same designs, or will they be changed when the official artwork is updated?

I really don't think all those characters who were all carrying whips in their sprites would be allowed to have them nowadays. I reckon they'll also update Blaine to match his anime portrayal (i.e. his original, long haired moustacheless design), same with Brock and Misty.

Brock will likely look like his anime counterpart as of now, Blaine changing back to long hair, Misty getting a different two-piece swimsuit, and the others largely remaining the same, except that Koga has a bigger cape or something, Erika has a different pattern on her kimono, etc.
